Private Dance Lessons
Will is very patient, skilled, intuitive, and creative. I have decided to purchase a package of lessons with him. And I can tell you that when I left my trial lesson with him this past Wednesday, my feet did not touch the sidewalk because my experience, psychologically, was so rewarding.

My son was interested in taking some private dance lessons in the contemporary style over his winter break to help with his Drum Corps visual auditions to focus on quality of motion. I looked around and Wil at We Evolve Dance was quick to respond to my request for information. My son took multiple lessons during his school break. Wil taught him a routine and they worked on multiple areas that my son requested. Wil has an extremely positive view with great advice on auditions and confidence. He taught many elements of dance from hip awareness to how to get loose and be comfortable with yourself during a performance. I Highly recommend Wil for any dance or audition preparation, or if you just want to learn how to dance!
Jan 2, 2020We Evolve Dance's replyJason, Thank you so much for your comments. I am glad that you felt I gave your son some good information so he can better his chances in the auditions. I wish him the best of luck and hope he gets the part. Once again thank you for choosing We Evolve Dance for your sons needs. Please come back anytime. I would be happy to help. Best, William

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? The first lesson is always a little bit longer than the rest, because I get to know the student’s background as a person and in dance. It is almost an evaluation of how coordinated they are and what can be best applied to their ability for in the time that they have decided to take for what they would be learning from me. Each style and reason a person has takes a different amount of time. For example a wedding couple might only need 5 classes, other might need 10 classes. Private dance students learning a certain style of dance might need an ongoing class for many months or years or they could be preparing to go on vacation where the style of dance would be seen quite frequently and they could want a few classes just to get them to the level of comfortable on the dance floor.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have 3 college degrees, 2 of them concern performance art. The first one is a degree in Contemporary Dance and the second one is a degree in acting. However before I had these 2 degrees, I have had many excellent and not so excellent teachers around the world. From ballet, tap, jazz to salsa & bachata, ballroom and folkloric dancing. I also have many certifications in different styles of dances, like pole dancing and dance fitness. I am certified AFAA to work in any gym as a group fitness instructor. The most important part of my education has been the experience I have gained over the last 20 years especially when it has to do with customer relationships knowledge of when I’m teaching and to truly understand what people want.
