We here at We Evolve Dance have taken the necessary precautions in order to have a fun and safe dance environment at our studio. The teachers are required to wear a mask and we also would recommend it for the students as well. We have hand sanitizer through out the studio, hand soap in all the bathrooms and is constantly cleaned. We have enough space to were you would get a whole room by yourselves. My wife and I worked with Will for five classes to prepare our first dance for our wedding in Bali, and it was one of the best decisions we made during the wedding planning process!
What stood out most was Will's ability to meet us where we were as dancers and create a choreography that felt uniquely ours. He took the time to understand our vision, comfort level, and the elements we wanted to include. For us, we wanted to incorporate some ballet-inspired elements into our dance, and Will choreographed them seamlessly.

We had such a lovely time with our dance instructor, Will! He came up our choreography during our first dancelesson on the spot (he’s THAT good), and it flows so well with our song for the First Dance. My fiancé and I had zero dance experience, so he was patient and kind when giving us feedback on how to improve. He also likes to crack jokes and make quirky analogies to make the experience fun and engaging!
We’re so excited to perform our First Dance at our wedding, thanks to him. We only did 5 lessons with him, but we learned so much! He’s super easy to talk to, and he responds quickly over email and text. I highly recommend him if you’re unsure if it’s worth taking dancelessons versus learning yourself through video clips on YouTube. Having a person to actually show you where your limbs and back should be helped us form the proper muscle memory to have an elegant dance, and I don’t think we’d be as smooth if we only watched videos online.
Since he’s a gym coach on the side, Will also gave us great exercising tips! My fiancé and I are motivated to exercise more regularly now because of these dance lessons, and we feel the difference in our shoulders, confidence, and energy. I can’t recommend a more supportive, knowledgeable, and capable instructor! Take those lessons!

Will was absolutely amazing. He took into account our skill level (which was none) and the vision we wanted for our wedding. I had a bad knee injury that he was able to work with very easily. He was very accommodating. We paid for the 7 sessions which we HEAVILY recommend (or more). It gave us time to fully learn the choreography and then spend the last session going through every little sequence to perfect it. It turned out beautiful

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first lesson is always a little bit longer than the rest, because I get to know the student’s background as a person and in dance. It is almost an evaluation of how coordinated they are and what can be best applied to their ability for in the time that they have decided to take for what they would be learning from me. Each style and reason a person has takes a different amount of time. For example a wedding couple might only need 5 classes, other might need 10 classes. Private dance students learning a certain style of dance might need an ongoing class for many months or years or they could be preparing to go on vacation where the style of dance would be seen quite frequently and they could want a few classes just to get them to the level of comfortable on the dance floor.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 3 college degrees, 2 of them concern performance art. The first one is a degree in Contemporary Dance and the second one is a degree in acting. However before I had these 2 degrees, I have had many excellent and not so excellent teachers around the world. From ballet, tap, jazz to salsa & bachata, ballroom and folkloric dancing. I also have many certifications in different styles of dances, like pole dancing and dance fitness. I am certified AFAA to work in any gym as a group fitness instructor. The most important part of my education has been the experience I have gained over the last 20 years especially when it has to do with customer relationships knowledge of when I’m teaching and to truly understand what people want.
