I have a lot of experience with interior and exterior painting as well as a wide variety of other types of construction. My standards are high and when I hire a contractor I expect them to do their best work and not cut corners. I also manage remodeling projects for friends. This was the first time I worked with NCM Painting. After reviewing multiple bids for exterior house painting (a friend's home in Santa Clara), we chose NCM Painting for several reasons: 1) Luis provided clear answers to my questions about how the work would be done; for example, making minor repairs prior to painting. 2) Luis committed to meet with me nearly every day to review the progress. I appreciate being able to have regular discussions with the business owner in addition to a crew leader. 3) NCM Painting was the only bid that included TWO coats of paint over primer. My definition of two coats is: applying the second coat after the first coat has dried sufficiently, not just spraying horizontally and vertically while applying the first coat. The NCM Painting team was very responsive in terms of addressing surface preparation issues I marked with blue tape. In fact, they addressed many more preparation issues (mostly scraping and sanding of peeling or cracked paint on older wood surfaces and filling of gaps) than I had marked. They also did a very neat and clean job when caulking around newly installed window and door frames. NCM Painting was not the lowest price bid I received for this project, but considering the level of effort the team spent addressing all the details and applying two coats of paint over primer (which will be more durable than a single coat), I thought the price was a good value. In other words, you get what you pay for! Although schedule was not my top priority, the project was completed within the estimated time frame. Additionally, they kept the job site clean and organized on a daily basis and thoroughly cleaned up at the end. Working with Luis and Mayra was a also very positive experience. Responses to messages, even on weekends, was very timely; much better than any other contractor I've dealt with. Luis is an honest guy who cares about the quality of the work he and his team do. My friend and his wife are very happy with the quality of the exterior painting on their home in Santa Clara. I will recommend NCM Painting & Construction to others.

I used NCM Painting services to remove popcorn ceilings and apply texture on it. Luis was very professional, on time and courteous. He followed up on the quality and made sure we were satisfied with their work.

I wish I could give them 10 stars!!! We had a great experience working with Luis and his team. They were punctual, detail oriented, fast, friendly. They did an awesome job bringing our vision to life painting the exterior of our house and installing natural stones as accent. They went above and beyond to make us happy. They left the site very clean and organized every day. They did such a great job that we ask them to do additional work painting our fence. They finished the job in the time frame they promised and complimentry pressure washed the area that they were setting the tools and supplies. We recomand NCM service. We will hire them again for future projects.
