- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always loved makeup since I was 5. I would always play with my mom's makeup and watch her as she puts on her favorite red lipstick. I've decided to get into this line of work because it is one of the most exciting thing I have ever done in my life. As a make-up artist, it allows me to express my creativity and put any crazy idea into practice which I love doing the most! Not only do you get to meet new people, visiting new places and learning more and more as you go. And in the end I get to see the results of my work immediately and personally, it brings a satisfaction to see happy clients faces!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
DO SOME RESEARCH.. I would say rely on reviews and pictures of your MUA's work.. Just because you are on a budget doesn't mean your makeup should either... If you really want to be fabulous for your event, I say splurge a little especially if it's an important one
