I met the owner/cake designer of the Wild Orchard-Specialty Cake and Design through a local bridal show in San Francisco. She is very responsive in the whole process, from initial consultation and tasting appointment to my late decision (less than a week before the wedding) of adding mini wedding desserts for my special day. She communicates efficiently and professionally during the planning process to ensure all my special requests have been met. We like that this vendor is flexible on creating customized cake flavor based on my preferred ingredients and elements for a wedding cake. Both the wedding cake and mini desserts (macaroons and mini fruit tartlets) were great in texture, flavor profiles were unique without being overly sweet. We did not really research on the average pricing for wedding cake during the planning process, but we appreciated that the owner gave us suggestion on how to lower the total cost. We had a total guest count of 200 at the end. As an alternative, the owner suggested to have a smaller three-tier wedding cake that served 100, and supplemental sheet cakes that served 100. Based on the quality of services, responsiveness, flexibility of Wild Orchard-Specialty Cake and Design, I would recommend this vendor to a friend.

From start to finish, LikLing Khoo was a wonderful hire. She was a prompt communicator, gave helpful input on our ideas for desserts, and ended up creating a beautiful spread of mini cupcakes for our wedding - along with a small cheesecake for the cake-cutting ceremony. The cheesecake (my favorite dessert) was one of the best I have ever had! She also really helped us out at the last minute when we realized that our caterer was not going to be providing us with the cake and cupcake display; LikLing offered to provide one (with only a couple days' notice) at a very low fee, simply to save us the trouble of finding one ourselves. It was that kind of thoughtfulness that we especially appreciated on our big day. Thank you so much, LikLing!!

So glad that I found and decided to use Wild Orchard for our wedding cake and dessert bar. Likling is a pleasure to work with, professional and truly listened to our tastes and vision. Her attention to detail was impressive and showed in her work. Our cake and dessert bar was a hit and her fresh macaroons were to die for! Would definitely recommend her to others.
