Joanne has been working with my daughter for about 6 mo this now. She’s timely, professional, and such a great role model. My daughter just got the lead in her school musical after working with Joanne. She’s the best. I’d give her 10 stars if I could.Nov 11, 2019VerifiedThe Performing Arts Coach's reply

Thank you so much Autumn! I love working with talented young people like you!
I strongly recommend Joanne as a performance arts coach, and I think she should be everyone's first choice no matter what your goals are. She is thoroughly prepared every time we meet, she is punctual and always available either by phone or email for questions. Joanne is super organized and provides you with constant feedback. She is a great listener and really cares about what I am trying to improve. Each lesson with her is specifically tailored to me and my goals. In just 2-3 lessons, my colleagues already saw visible improvements from my performance. Bottom-line, pick Joanne!Aug 31, 2018VerifiedThe Performing Arts Coach's reply

Working with someone who is as talented and optimistic as yourself gives me great pleasure and gratitude. Thank you Chandler!
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?$70 for fifty minutes I also offer packages. 5 -fifty minute lessons cost $300 and 10-fifty minute lessons cost $550. I can also do group sessions at a lower rate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? To begin, I suggest we set up a 15 minute free consultation, so that I can learn more about you and the goals you have created. Then, I will share with you the program that I can provide you with. My services are customized to fit your specific needs and interests. This individualized approach helps all types of clients, from those brand new to the performing arts to those with years of experience. For instance, some of my clients need daily or weekly support in their artistic work, while others need coaching on a specific audition or project. Based on your current needs, we will collaborate to develop a schedule that makes sense for you. I include feedback and will maintain regular communication regarding your progress. Together we will discover what self doubts you are holding onto. What fears you have that consistently hold you back from unleashing your most creative self. What actions you are not taking. What skills you need to learn. What areas of your work should you be committing to right now. You and I will create a sense of urgency that will motivate you to stay on track, especially when it is hard. We will commit to the work you need to do right now! I go back and forth between LA and NYC. I do most of my lessons online, which has proven to be very effective.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work? After 18 years of experience in working with performing artists all over New York City and Los Angeles, I wanted to give my clients the tools that they will need in order to achiever their goals. These tools have the power to make a remarkable difference in your work. I know this because my clients continue to book work, write productions, produce movies and make a career in doing what they love. I hold a maser's degree from New York University in Theater Education and English. I have taught drama at the middle school level for 7 years, and then owned my own children's theater, The Magic Mirror Theater for 6 years. I have also performed, produced, directed and have written plays Off Broadway.
