- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Simple price. $150/hr for weekends. $135/hr for weekdays. (Weekends are FRI-SUN), (Weekdays are MON-THURS) 90 min anytime = $200 To ensure the time you want, book at least a week in advance for weekends. Last minute bookings are OK for weekdays.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I train most weekday nights. I train with Cirque du Soleil clown John Gilkey who was a main clown in Iris, Quidam, Dralion, Solstrom, and Varekai! Plus I train with Steven Haves, the comic act designer for Cirque du Soleil since 2006! I also learn by teaching as I teach new clowns the craft and trade.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I used to be an after school teacher (STAR program) but I decided to be an entertainer for it was the in between times that influenced kids the most. In a classroom the lessons they learned may be remembered, but the fun and interesting childhood memories like the birthday party with all your friends and classmates are life lasting. The lessons taught in play and fun stay for life.
