Rubin is very knowledgeable and explained well what would be needed to repair my windows before my house went up for sale. I ultimately decided to have the glass replaced by someone who was available the next day so that my house would be available for showing this weekend. He had already ordered a custom window but assured me that he would make an effort to cancel it. If not, I will just have to leave the custom window for the home buyers to use if they ever choose to do so. Overall, Ruben is an effective craftsman.

Ruben responded to my initial post almost immediately and was very easy to communicate with. He was able to come a few days later (I wasn't in a rush) and though others had said my broken Blinds/Curtain chain mechanism wasn't fixable...he fixed it! I would definitely call on him again.

trying to deal with Ruben was a complete disaster! He knew that my project needed to be done in just a few days for a city reinspection on a rental property. he did come as promised to take a look but he was supposed to give me an estimate but it took him three days and numerous calls to give that to me. He kept on saying that he would give me the estimate in the afternoon and then never did. Said he was doing a big job and kept promising to give me the estimate but didn't. And he never gave me a time frame to complete the job. I had to hire somebody else because I was worried that it would not be done in time. He finally did give me the estimate, which was reasonably priced but at that point I had already hired somebody else. Instead he was asked to do some other things but he refused, saying it was out of the scope of the original work. A very stressful and waste of time with him. You can make up your own decision on whether you want to work with him or not but I certainly will not.
