FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is dependent on the individual needs of each student. We offer discounted packages based on how many sessions the client is interested in per week and the type of preparation services the student needs, including which caliber of schools the student hopes to apply to. Our services include all of the following: (1) supporting the writing process for individualized personal statements and supplemental essays; (2) college counseling and applications preparation; (3) one-on-one tutoring and test preparation for college entrance exams (ACT/SAT); and (4) individually tailored school searches for scholarship opportunities. Please feel free to contact the Untapped Admissions team for an individual quote.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every student begins with a free 30-minute consultation, where a college admission counselor assess their academic background, personal history, and goals to ensure tailored college admissions guidance. Before our first session, students complete a preliminary admissions survey, helping our team create a customized strategy for their applications. The personal survey compiles overall background information, personal lessons/obstacles, major selection, extracurriculars, and leadership. Our students often highlight our counselor’s ability to build collaborative, effective relationships, and many continue to seek our mentorship beyond college admissions for career growth. During the consultation, a college admissions counselor conducts a comprehensive evaluation of the student’s academic background and personal experiences, ensuring a strategic, individualized approach to the Common App, UC applications, and beyond.
