Goals

Introduction: I offer traditional psychotherapy and counseling techniques such as CBT and EMDR which tackle the mind, blended with powerful tools such as yoga, boxing, meditation, hiking and more, that leverage the power of the body. The body holds just as much of the cause and the burden of depression, anxiety and trauma, as our minds do. We can cut off from it, focus on our mind, and push our bodily experience away but it never truly leaves us (often it turns up in the form of a chronic and unexplained medical condition). By pushing away or blocking our physical experience, we may temporarily avoid some of the ‘shitty’ feelings that are coming from or that are directed at the body, but we also miss out on the power of the mind-body connection and its monumental healing abilities. My approach is unique but based on research and real results - each element I introduce has strong scientific backing when it comes to healing and managing depression, stress, anxiety and chronic illness. Watching people gain health and happiness as they learn to use the power of their mind and body for them, not against them!

Kim is my personal trainer and confidante. She never lets me leave anything behind in my workouts, but always makes them fun and interesting. She is such a pleasure to be around and helps you to realize your goals, in training and in life, and achieve them. I cannot recommend her enough.

Kim Hollingdale is an amazing trainer. I would recommend her to anyone. She creates routines that are suited to my physical needs, abilities, and deficits. I've been seeing her for five weeks (3X/week) and each session, she surprises me. She makes it fun and challenging. I have no criticisms at all--just praise.

I schedule one hour sessions once a week with Kim. She has a very energetic vibe about her that is absolutely contagious! She makes sure that you're comfortable with everything but she pushes you to your limit! She likes working out outdoors and brings plenty of gear to keep you entertained! She makes sure that there are always new workouts each time so you are always working out every part of your body and will never be bored! She really tries her best to connect with you and motivate you so you achieve what you want! I highly recommend Kim!

Kim is my favorite physical fitness trainer I have ever had. She pushes me to work hard while keeping out workouts fun and fresh. Kim is AWESOME and if you wanna actually have fun when you work out I highly suggest you go with her!
