Introduction: I mainly work with individuals and couples who are actively interested or involved in some way in a growth process, whether they have engaged in psychotherapy before or not. We look at the ways of thinking, feeling, or behaving that keep us stuck, and begin the process of seeking strategies to heal and evolve. An area of focus is on expanding awareness of and developing ways of responding to areas that create pain - the very thing that most of us avoid. Through the process we discover and support unmet needs that are frequently the source of the biggest struggles, and by going into these challenging areas and learning ways to be with them, we cultivate empathy and healing for ourselves, and better relationships with loved ones. I consider myself a dedicated seeker of truth and feel privileged to be in this profession of helping others on their path to finding more skillful, strong, and sensitive ways of being and developing qualities of heart that are essential for fulfillment.
