- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It is best to quote a home or project no matter the size or frequency, after a physical walk through. We can bid you over the phone or online with a "rough" bit, but honestly if a company just throws a solid number at you in this industry, we'd say don't trust them. So many things vary the pricr, the condition your home is in, pets, how many people are living there, if you have blinds, what kind of flooring you have, if you have alot of tile that needs grout scrubbed, etc. It is best to schedule a free, no obligation physical walk through and estimate in this industry. It is also in the clients benefit because maybe your house is actuallt easier to clean and will take less time than you can can explain online or over the phone. This saves you from "over bidding".
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Well the first step after contacting myself or one of my cleaners about your interest is setting up an appointment to meet. We then bid your home during a physical walk through and I take notes about all your needs and answer any questions you may have. I leave you with a price after we discuss all of the deciding factors such as frequency of cleaning etc. After our meet, I email you a typed of version of our bid and that is our "Work order" an agreement of duties to be completed for the set price. This work order can be customizable as time goes on through email or phone call. This same work order is kept on file for myself, and then given to the cleaners as wells so that we are all always on the same page. We then set a date for your first visit and your house or office get a detailed clean. It's history from there. You then become a part of the Mom's Way Cleaning family! Invoices/ receipts are available at any time per request.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got started in this industry because my mother had her own cleaning business growing up and it's just always come easy to me. I love to clean and I love to help others clean/ organize. I enjoy making a living off something I know all about and that comes so natural to me.
