FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I don’t usually quote without looking at the unit/house to be cleaned. When I give a rough estimate I always let people know the minimum amount that can be charged but, that it can be more. Price for the first time cleaning is usually the highest depending on the current condition of the place, the heaviest work is usually done the first time and it takes longer, then with scheduled reoccurring cleaning price will be less for future visits. I don’t do laundry. Extra charge for cleaning oven & refrigerator. Base price only includes cleaning the outside of any appliance. Window cleaning (interior only) is extra, not included in base price.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I respond as soon as I can when somebody contacts me, in a competitive market time matters when responding to a client, especially when more than one pro has been contacted. I always ask to look at their place so that I can quote them and to discuss further details.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
So far I’ve worked for customers whose homes had not been cleaned for a while, therefore a lot of attention to detail was a must and the amount of time spent cleaning was over 4-5 hours. Yes, it takes that long to deep clean a home that needs a lot of detail and attention. Reoccurring future visits keep your home well maintained and not accumulating dirt.
