John Boschen and Ken did a great job in clearing up the overgrown front yard and made it presentable and neat. I'm already considering them for future yard maintenance and minor fence repair in the future.

John came out quickly to give an estimate on our front and back yard and it was very reasonable. They cleaned up our yard and hauled away old fencing. We liked them so much we asked them to come back and give quotes on more work that we need done (retaining wall and sprinkler system).

I was desperate for help with my front yard - it was overgrown with rose bushes, hedges, and thorny plum trees which were all tangled together and about 15' high, 10' thick, and 45' long. I wanted to keep the roses, but remove the hedges and thorny plum trees which had become an impenetrable thicket. I also had another row of hedges, about 4' high, 3' deep, and 15' long, that were diseased and dying, and needed to be removed all the way to the roots, but a previous homeowner had planted them over the water lines and the roots needed to be hand dug up so as not to break the pipes underneath, which ripping them out with a chain might do. I had tried tackling this project myself, along with my college-age sons, but it was a loosing battle for us. I was desperate to get my ugly, overgrown, eyesore of a front yard looking lovely and I knew I had to call in the pro's... *trumpets sounding* ...it was J&K Lawn & Yard Service to the rescue!!! John and Kent came fully prepared with all the tools, skill, and muscle it would take to turn my yard-shame into the pride of my neighborhood. Despite the backbreaking work in scorching July heat, they were always polite and professional, always had a smile and a wave when I stopped by to check on their progress, and a cheerful, knowledgable response to all of my questions and concerns. The transformation they made in my yard is jaw-dropping; I am still doing double-takes every time I drive up my street - I can't believe that beautiful front yard is mine! I have already hired John and Kent to come back and transform my overgrown backyard into the edible oasis I have envisioned in my mind - fruit trees and raised vegetable beds, along with a garden entertaining area. I can't wait to see how fantastically it turns out! I would be remiss if I did not end my review with a tender thing the guys did which cheered my heart and was very telling about their character: As they were trimming down the last rose bush (which was about 10' high), two birds' nests caught our eyes. Sure enough, there was a baby Robin inside one of them. The guys made sure that the baby Robin was okay, and they helped me gather up some of the rose bush trimmings so we could make a canopy/camouflage over the nest to protect the little guy, since his nest was now exposed to the elements and to predators. The following quote came to mind as I watched John and Kent help recreate a safe home for a tiny, helpless baby bird, and made sure Mama Robin felt safe came back to care for him, “He who is cruel to animals becomes hard also in his dealings with men. We can judge the heart of a man by his treatment of animals.” - Immanuel Kent. John and Kent are most definitely men of both great skill and great character and I cannot recommend them for your lawn/garden/yard maintenance needs highly enough!

We clean up overgrown and neglected yards and restore useablity. We do the work so our clients can enjoy their off time. We research products for our clients for best quality as well as for price. We service our lawn accounts every two weeks (on time) to including fertilize every 6-8 weeks. All calls or emails will be answered promptly. One time accounts always welcome
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for a person to return calls promptly look for person to arrive on time for an estimate look for a provider that listens to what you want not what he wants
