Clint was a pleasure to work with during a recent complete external repainting job on our house in Windsor, California. The siding was in quite a worn and cracked condition, and Clint and his team did a thorough and professional job in getting the wood sealed and painted. Additionally they repaired or replaced a significant portion of the trim. The quality of the sealant and paint was top notch, the house looks great, and we dont expect to ever have to repaint again. I would guess you could find lower cost painting contractors, but it is unlikely they would do the quality job that Clint and team did. I was also impressed (as I have been with previous work done by Details of Sonoma) by the timeliness and efficiency of their work. They showed up when promised, finished when promised, and were clearly conscientious about making everything right. We really have no complaints or suggestions for improvement. If we were planning an internal paint job we would definitely use Clint again.

I hired Clint St. Martin for several large projects. His company painted our house before we launched into a major remodel of 70% of our living space. He came back and painted all our new interior rooms and stained all wood doors. He topped all this off with a fantastic Venetian plaster wall in our entry space. All jobs met our schedule, budget and scope of work. I would call first for any of my painting needs and more.

Depending on your home, the prep work dictates the amount of work needed: Typical homes cost $3-$4/square foot for exterior painting. Typical Interiors are $300-$800 per room plus ceilings and or trim/door work.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As the Finishing Manager, I am constantly looking for better products to provide us the most competitive edge in the industry. It's a constant battle of: "How can I provide better products that will last longer and provide a better return on investment for my clients." I am a member of the Painting and Decorating Contractors of America, North Coast Builders Exchange, Santa Rosa Chamber of Commerce and Young Professionals Network.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always liked helping people. The depression of 2009-Current was a prime opportunity to help a lot of people get affordable, quality work. We've built our reputation on that.
