I help students in understanding the structure and content of the English language -- spelling, grammar, and rules of composition. Additionally, I work as a test prep tutor and have helped students prepare for the following standardized exams: SSAT, SAT, ISEE, TOEFL. Having served as a TA in English literature, I have eight years of experience in tutoring at the undergraduate level and below. My responsibilities include the following: * Helping students interpret poetry and prose * Teaching students about the structure and content of the English language -- grammar, spelling and sentence structure * Creating lesson plans * Teaching different literary styles * Grading essays and exams * Tutoring students individually I love helping students reach their academic goals as well as helping them realize their intellectual strengths.
