FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Keller Williams Realty is a company that has the most training available of any company, hands down. I would honestly challenge anyone to prove me wrong. I enjoy the ongoing training that Keller Williams Realty offers and I commit several hours a week to continuing education. There is also other required continuing education which I am doing through The California Association of Realtors. To be a Realtor (registered trademark of National Association of Realtors), one must take a class on Ethics and pass a test. I am also trained in the Luxury Market through ILHM (International Luxury Home Marketing) as well as Keller Williams International Luxury program. I have also taken classes on technology and marketing. I'm currently studying sustainability and country property management through my own personal interest and will soon be launching www.sonomacountycountryproperty.com
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I wanted to be a real estate agent since I was 19. I studied real estate trends my entire life and after owning and running several businesses I found the courage to dive into real estate. I studied for my license at the bottom of the market and everyone thought I was making a mistake because the housing market was so bad at the time. Then, I showed them all wrong and had an outstanding first year of real estate. I listed and sold a million dollar house in Marin County in my second year and right after that I sold a $130,000.00 condo in Santa Rosa. I continued to list a few homes in Napa County and in Sonoma County and have sold several homes throughout Sonoma County.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I really love all types of real estate. I've listed and sold manufactured homes, single family residences, condominiums, country properties, a cabin in the woods, fixer-uppers, short-sales, bank owned homes and I've even listed and sold a very unusual tri-level home in Mill Valley. I love the diversity of my job, but I'm specializing in country property estates. The most common property I work with has been single family residences.
