What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We look at each job to determine pricing - we do have minimum pricing in some cases, but for the most part, we need to see the site to determine pricing
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We do an initial walk-through and review entire scope of the project, then we gather all information needed and submit a proposal for your approval
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are licensed and insured with the State of California as a C-27 contractor
On our staff we have irrigation specialists, arborists, horticulturist, designers, paver installars, lighting professionals and much more
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up in the industry with my Dad and have been building this company for the last 20 years
What types of customers have you worked with?
We have ranged from large commercial clients like AT&T, COKE, FRY's, COX Cable, Storage West and many more to small residential projects, custom estate projects, we have done celebrity houses, worked on the Extreme Home Makeover and Yard Crashers shows and worked for charity as well
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I really love working on well designed projects featuring intelligent design - there are so many projects that I love, it would be hard to pick
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure you check that they are licensed and insured, carry workers compensation, have a good contract and meet the people you will be working with. A successful project always starts with a good plan - make sure all details are worked out and agreed on prior to starting
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Make sure the scope of work is clearly defined and agreed on and that you know what materials you are getting - a detailed estimate and plan are crucial to a successful project. Know your budget and be clear about it from the beginning
