- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is usually less than most companies. I believe in giving the customer a fair price for the work. I factor in time for the project and how large of a team is needed. I also prefer photos for exact quotes and will only give estimates, that are usually higher than the actual cost, without photos since I cannot determine how long it will take just from a description of the work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I Iike to have personal contact with my customers. That can be through texting or phone conversations at the beginning. On large projects I like to meet my clients at their property so we can discuss the needs together and walk the project if necessary. I feel it helps me organize the project better and provide confidence to my clients in my work. I am a people person and care for my clients. I also like to reward clients for referrals and future projects.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have two years of college education in Horticulture and 20 years of studying plants on my own. My family calls me a plant nerd because I love to learn about and grow plants.
