Avi was amazing!!! I was never stressed he always got right back to me. I had the option to do it all online which was perfect for me, but he would have met me at a Starbucks near me if I wanted. Any question I had he answered in a clear simple way that made sense. When I had my taxes done in April I was told I would owe 2000$ with Avi I will end up owing a couple hundred. His price is very competitive , he only wanted to discuss his fee after my taxes were filed and ready. Avi spoke with me all weekend and advised he had a few clients ahead of me and it would take him a few days to get to mine. I never had to wonder what was happening. Just a total relief during a stressful tax time. I’d give him 100 stars if I could. There is not one thing I wish would have been different. Thank you Avi, you are THE BEST!

So not only were my taxes late, I was really worried about owing taxes and being able to get approved for any sort of payment plan. I have been going to Tracy for over 10 years, I love her positive attitude her professionalism and how efficient she is. George did our married foreign income tax filing for last year. Overall, it was a disaster. We chose him because he specializes in foreign income, his rate was a bit lower than others, and he answered our initial communications quickly and thoroughly - so, we started off expecting a good experience. However, the first draft of the filing contained numerous mistakes, such as: listing myself instead of my wife on the self employed income form, miscategorized income as a deduction, checking ‘no’ we did not need to file an FBAR when I told him it was already filed, and more. After finding so many initial mistakes, we tried to go over the corrected filing as thoroughly as possible and each of us found areas of concern which we wanted further clarification on. George assured us that everything was properly filled out, but said he would need start charging additional fees to answer our questions. We felt pressured into giving him the go-ahead to file. The final kicker was a mistake we missed: the country code for our german home address was incorrectly filed as GM instead of DE, and our tax return check never arrived because it was sent to Gambia! It took us 6 months of mailing forms back and forth to the US to get it sorted out. Doubly surprising, as we were expecting the refund to be electronically deposited to the account provided! In the end, we wish we had not allowed him to file but instead paid someone else to redo the taxes. We’re still concerned about their accuracy, and feel that especially the self employment income/deductions were handled so sloppily that I just have to cross my fingers we are never audited.

My wife and I are retired teachers, homeowners, and rental-property owners in California. Together, we've survived the era of receipts clumsily stacked and transported in shoe and cigar boxes and then sitting hours in a stodgy waiting room to spend more untold numbers of hours going over those receipts with a stressed-out, overworked Enrolled Agent of a tax service. Never in the five decades of having to go through the ordeal of tax prep have we experienced such a painless tax-return experience. Cheryl & and I especially appreciate Mr. Dimov's (a CPA & Consultant) communication abilities in both answering questions and asking them. And, the speed of his discourse has been almost immediate in every instance, and certainly never late! We used to have to wait weeks, last year a month, to have our completed returns mailed to us in hard-copy form for us to then send ourselves via USPS to the IRS and Cal FTB. George completed our returns in less than 48 hours and the eFile docs were digitally sent off to the appropriate agencies right at the end of that process.

I'm the CEO of a 1 1/2 year old start-up. I originally reached out to JumpStart CPAs for Tax Return services, but quickly realized after communicating with Cimmer that I needed much more than that! I needed an Accounting system in order to properly capture my financial transactions, I needed separate business bank accounts, a payroll service and retirement planning just to name a few!!! Cimmer was able to help me with all of these things, and the Tax return ended up being a very small part of the service she provides. She was able to set up my books and work remotely, and we send data over the internet so it's very efficient. I now have access to my financial and cash flow data all the time and I can make business decisions about the future instead of just recording what happened in the past. JumpStart CPAs is more expensive than others who might be quoting for a similar service, but you get what you pay for!! I am so thankful I found JumpStart CPAs. My business performance is improving now because I understand what's going on! I now have a real Business Advisor, not "just" an Accountant.

Ms Noella has been my go-to tax adviser for the past 4 years. I first worked with her when I was being audited by the IRS. She was able to work with me to resolve the issue and prepare me for the next year in terms of planning. She brings her experience from her work with the IRS to bear when tackling tax issues. My tax return is always fairly complex as it includes stocks, stock options, RSUs and other corporate incentives like bonuses and ESPP. My experience was UNBELIEVABLE! I was contacted immediately, which was even after hours for the owner. He listened patiently to my scenario, which had been going on for several years with the IRS. He booked me an appointment first thing the next morning and I met with him and his wife. I explained that I had been working with another CPA and a tax attorney for over 1 year, but we were getting no where. In fact, the interest and penalties were accruing faster than I could stomach. The IRS claimed I owed almost a quarter of a million dollars, and had already filed a lien against me. Tri Valley tax requested all my supporting documents and amended my returns which had been done incorrectly. They studied my case thoroughly. Within a couple weeks they sent their response and my amended returns off to the IRS. Within a little over a month later they called me to tell me my case had been won! I was so relieved, words cannot express how grateful I am. I have my life back thanks to this company. I will never leave them, they are my team for life!
