Jim, It was a pleasure dealing with you and like most of my customers you appreciated that I know the work and strive to save time and headaches by doing the job right the first time. Regards, Doug.
Doug was fantastic! We needed a door installed ASAP and he got it done in a few hours. Nice, clean, fast work. Would highly recommend to anyone.Dec 4, 2018Verified
Doug replaced a door on our rental property. Since we live remotely, we really appreciated Doug's communication and expertise to procure and install the door complete with hardware, casing and weatherstripping. He also recommended replacing some components of our front door which we did as well. Thanks Doug!Apr 24, 2017Verified
Working with Doug was a very pleasant experience! He changed his schedule around to accommodate me after hearing that we were living without a front door, and helped walk me through getting all the supplies we needed to complete the project. He was very nice, friendly, did a great job installing our door and made sure to leave the area clean when he was done. I would definitely recommend Doug to anyone needing a door hung, and will call him again if I need his services in the future!Aug 7, 2017Verified
This is my first experience with door replacement. The door that was replaced was hung by previous owners and had been having issues for some time. Doug was able to quickly provide an estimate and instal the door with a high level of professionalism and quality. He showed up as scheduled, did a great job, and left me wanting more. I hired him to install a second custom order door that went equally as well.Oct 12, 2016Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I keep my prices Iower than other Door Companies and I am far less expensive than The Home Depot or Lowes and the quality of my work far outweighs theirs. Call me and see just how simple I can make your door installation. I will even pass on the quote that I get from my suppliers so that a customer can see that they're getting any discounts that I may get. I also get doors done quickly and will look into changing my schedule if you need someone fast so that you can get a project finished or pass an inspection. Call or even text me and I will answer questions quickly and get your estimate out fast so that the work can be completed in a timely manner. I will not take a huge deposit and then make you wait for weeks to get the work done. On most Installs I bring what I need and do the Install and you pay when I'm done. I only ever ask for a deposit when we need to order a door in which case I will forward the quote to you and you can even contact my suppliers and pay for it. It doesn't get much easier!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I generally like to talk with a prospective customer first to get a feel of the work and an Idea of what a homeowner is looking for. I can then work up a free Itemized estimate and If need be I will put them in touch with my highly skilled sales people at my suppliers who know exactly what is available and can price a door immediately in most cases. Of course If we need to specially order a door I will go out to confirm that everything is correct because unlike a door bought from a local home store we don't want to start returning a wrongly ordered door. - What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I was taught in England and served and extensive apprenticeship teaching me my trade and as a master carpenter I have done more than just doors. I am always learning about the latest developments in my field as well as the latest and greatest materials. Lets face it, a door is a door but the latest fiberglass and steel doors mean that I find doors lasting a whole lot longer now.
