Introduction: I have a passion for cooking and really enjoy giving cooking lessons to people of all ages. I’m able to teach people things about food, grocery shopping, cooking techniques, and safety tips that they didn't know, whether they’re beginners or quite experienced in the kitchen. I would be happy to teach you how to make delicious meals that are not too complicated, and that are as good or better than what you can get in a restaurant. You decide what you'd like to make (I can make suggestions based on your interest), and I'll show you how (you can be as hands-on as you would like), and you take home everything we make together. I only use fresh, healthy ingredients, and am experienced in catering to special requirements (vegan, gluten-free, Kosher, allergies, etc.). Lastly, I believe that presentation is key. Your food not only has to taste good, but it has to look amazing! I do know how to bake also, if you're interested in making some delicious desserts.

Heather was amazing! We cooked several dishes in a little less then two hours. There was PLENTY of food to take home and she is super pleasant!! I’m looking forward to my class with her next week. Thank you so much!!! Not to mention the food was delicious!! I highly recommend taking a class with her. She’s also extremely fair in her price. You can’t go wrong!

Heather was just amazing!!! I learned so much practical cooking knowledge and I’m so excited to take what I learned and implant the recipes into my everyday cooking. The class was a lot of fun and I love how she catered her instruction to what we wanted to learn and at the appropriate level. I would HIGHLY recommend her if you’re looking for a fun cooking class in a comfortable environment. Not only was the class fun, but we got to take home all the food (it was A LOT) and a bottle of wine!!

How did you get started doing this type of work?
My parents are both excellent cooks and taught me at a very young age very important cooking skills. As a teenager, I also used to watch hour-upon-hour of cooking shows on the FoodNetwork, where I learned a lot of good techniques on how to prepare beautiful and delicious food. I have cooked meals for my family and friends for over 30 years...plenty of experience!
