3 Dog Training
About this pro
Jennifer was so in tuned with my puppy and had so much advice for us as a family... seeing her again to continue training.Jan 18, 2018
Jen is friendly and positive. She had some very helpful suggestions on getting the potty training from a 75% to 100% success rate. I had not left the puppy alone and she helped me find an area that was safe with suggestions on how to set it up. Worked on basic training (sitting, walking on leash, etc.). I felt like I got a lot out of our session. I will be calling on her again in a few weeks for additional help.Jul 31, 2017
Jen was awesome on the phone discussing our new rescue dog. She arrived at our house on time and in two hours time she showed us how to work with this very high energy dog. I would highly recommend Jen.Sep 17, 2017Verified
We had the best experience and will be setting up future sessions with Jennifer! The time she spent with us helping us understand our new puppy was invaluable. She was very responsive on text and always ready to help! Thank you Jennifer!Jun 20, 2017Verified
Jennifer was very easy to talk to you and took a common sense approach to dig training. She gave us some great ideas and offered to talk via telephone if we have had any questions or concerns. I would definitely utilize Jennifer again in the future.Feb 17, 2013Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I charge by the session, not by the hour. I also offer a variety of training options.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? My first session generally goes a bit long (about 2 hours) because I like to really get to know both the dog and the owner as well as hear their history before deciding what training we should focus on. As such, I don't charge by the hour but charge for the entire session no matter how long it goes. It's important to come up with solutions that work for the owners and the dogs instead of just selling the same package to everyone. I'm very flexible.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I've worked with animals on and off since I was thirteen years old. I've worked as a dog trainer since 2001 when I divided my time between dog training and managing an animal rescue. I've done in-kennel training (boot camp), private sessions, group classes, therapy dog work, conducted bite prevention seminars, taught other people how to train dogs and more. Although I have a bachelor's degree from USC, my dog training education comes from real life experiences.
