Excellent experience. It was more than quoted because I didn't want to buy the disposal myself. He told me that if he bought the disposal, I would have to pay cash. I appreciated the notice, but I still didn't feel like going to the hardware store. Bruce was on time and thorough. Turns out that since I didn't replace the disposal for a month, bacteria had taken residence in my drain. He offered to show me, but who wants to see worms in their drain? My husband verified it, that was good enough. Bruce replaced the disposal, cleaned and flushed the drain, corrected shoddy work that previous plumbers had done, and recommended preventive measures to keep the bacteria away. Done and done! I appreciate his detailed work, professionalism, and pricing. We will definitely call him to do the plumbing in our kitchen and bath renovations. I recommend him highly.
Very professional. Quickly fixed our kitchen sink drain clogging issue. Highly recommended for clogging issues.
Juan snaked out an old shower drain for us. He worked efficiently and was very good about cleanup. He kept in touch the whole time he was on the way to our house. So nice to have the shower draining!
Antonio was great. His prices are reasonable. He is very responsive, very professional, works very hard. He did great work. He removed my interior tankless hot water heater and I bought a new outdoor unit and he installed it. He also had my shower drain into a bucket outside with a sump pump in it with a garden hose - so I could use my shower water to water the grass. It works great.
The service was fine. I had a basic clogged bathroom tub. The guy showed up right in time and it took him about 15 minutes to fix. Cost $85 Customer service could be better. I had been messaging with Vladamir on thumbtack and he said to call to schedule. However, when I called and asked if I was speaking to him (to make sure I'm dialing the correct number) he wouldn't confirm. He just asked who was calling. I told him my name and asked again if I was speaking to Vladimir and he asked what it was about. This was kind of frustrating bc I just wanted to know I was speaking to the correct person. He called the service guy and confirmed an appt for the next morning so that was easy. But the service guy also lacked customer service skills. I told him I couldn't get the drain open and asked him to show me how for in the future. He just ignored my question and I asked 1 more time. Ignored. He also had terrible body odor and I'm assuming 8am is his first appointment of the day. I had to air my bathroom out for an hour after he left for the smell to dissipate. Again, the service was fine, good price and quick. I would just appreciate better customer service.
Thought it was a broken drain line from the kitchen sink - was only a split pipe. Still needed to be replaced. Was the first to respond. Offered a free estimate! Did the work for the price quoted. Worked with me to reschedule because Edison was working on power polls and I had no electricity! It was supposed to be back on at 8:00 am but didn't come back on until 2:30 pm. (we were scheduled to have his crew out at 9:00 am) Still promised his crew would come out that day between 4:00 and 4:30 after they finished another job. They showed up about 5:00 and did what they could - worked until 6:00 to finish the original problem but found another but needed another tool they didn't have with them. Gentleman promised to show up on Saturday evening/night because he was working in the Valley that day but didn't come by (I figured he got back too late to come over, would have appreciated a call though). Contacted Joel on Monday morning and he personally showed up within 2 hours (and within the time he said he would) and finished up the job.
Fixed my shower drain in no time! Also gave me some excellent tips on maintaining it. Will def call again if needed
My problem was that my kitchen sink was backing up into both basins and wouldn't drain properly. I had one plumber come out and snake the line but the problem got worse. He said I needed to have the entire drain line replaced for $1100. At first, there was a thought my HOA would be responsible for the cost since the drain line was exposed in the garage and they required me to get a second opinion. That's how I found LA Master Plumbers. Their estimate was $420. It turned out my HOA wouldn't pay for it because it was my personal kitchen drain so I was especially happy to have found a lower estimate. John and his son arrived when they said they would (they were even early), the were very careful to set up plastic to help contain the mess when they removed the old line. The explained everything they were doing and let me see inside the lines so I could see for myself how clogged they were. They even took pictures which they included in the invoice so I have record of what was done. I'm hopeful I've FINALLY found an honest plumber in LA! Time will tell. I hope I won't need to call them again for this particular problem and I won't hesitate to hire them again for future plumbing issues.
Had a clogged sink and backed up toilet and couldn't find a plumbing comp. that would come help me on x-mas eve and these guys were my life savers! They came right away and got it fixed...very professional and courteous would definitely refer them to my family and friends...Thanks again guys!
Gregory was right on time and even brought booties to protect my wood floors! While he could not mount my dishwasher drawer, he gave me some tips and insights and offered to come back to mount it when I got the proper brackets. I asked about a problem I had w my drain creating a smell, he offered tips on how to eliminate it. He said adding an additional trap would not solve the problem. So, I wasn’t able to hire him but I hope if I need him someday he’ll be available!
Rob came over to fix a broken sewer line and it turned out a storm drain also needed fixing. So, we needed to renegotiate the price for the job. Turns out we did that twice, too, when we discovered it was going to less time and material to fix than originally thought. Rob understood and lowered his price because of this and I am grateful to him for that. His workmanship and material were top notch, and I'd have him back for another job in a second. Thanks, Rob!
Damon was fantastic!! Great communication before the job and he showed up right on time. He has a great attitude and did spectacular work. His experience really showed and he actually informed me how to do some simple fixes on my drain for the future. Great guy and a great plumber. He is definitely my go to in the future. Thanks again Damon.
I called another plumber with a lot of good ratings and they told me they were busy. Would we like to make an appointment for tomorrow? It was only 3pm and we had a hissing leak under the house. Still the best I could get was, let me tell you how to shut the water off and we can be there tomorrow around 10am. So we called Prudential plumbing. Prudential said they would be there as soon as they could, probably by 5pm. Mark from Prudential arrived about 4pm, nice surprise and he went right to the leak. There wasnât going to be a quick fix because he said he had to torch the pipe and the low spot meant he had to drain the water. After some procedures to remove the water he went under the house and replaced the pipe. Then he went back under again to sanitize the area. When he finished our water was back and our toilets worked again! I complimented Mark about the repair and asked how he arrived so quickly after I called. He said he was about a mile away with another customer and our emergency needed service. He still had more work there the next day. We offered Mark a tip but he said he wouldnât take it this time. He said it was enough that we decided to live so close to his other customer. Our bill wasnât the lowest Iâve seen but Prudentialâs service was maybe the best and they were fast with a response. I think its very true what Prudential says on their web site.
Added one backyard drain collector and changed pressure valve. Very friendly, honest, showing knowledge of what they do. Will hire them again in case of needs. Thank you Tony and Armando.
At CPR Plumbing , James Clifton runs a fine company. First off, he gave us a good bid. On the job day James showed up on time, went to work, and even ran to the hardware store to get parts we did not have to complete the job. We had a toilet that needed repair, a kitchen faucet that needed replacement, a patio hose water outlet that needed replacing, and two drain pipes with leaks. James took care of all of these plumbing jobs promptly, with a smile...
Prompt service. Cleared my drain. Haven't had a problem since 👌
Very fast response. He was on-site in 30 min. after I contacted him. Fixed my clogged drain fast and professionally.
Oscar came out to unclogged a shower drain. He was prompt, curtious, took care of the clogged and cleaned up the work area. Very much appreciated. Would recommend them to friends and family. Thank you! Very professional and friendly.
Moises was absolutely great at communicating with me throughout our plumbing issues with the bathrooms. He was able to come over around the time he had suggested he was available for and made sure to inspect both our bathroom pipes. We thought it was a simple issue but it turns out that out main base drain was clogged up and he identified that when he found it. Moises was professional and knowledgeable about the whole situation as he told me it was easily solved by using his machine to snake and unclog the drain. Without it, the whole house would've been affected throughout the other pipes like the kitchen sink and laundry machines. He also provided pictures when I wasn't on the premise to ensure what he was working with. Would hire him again if any other issues come up in the future! :)
Rigo did a great job on replacing the leaky drain pipe under my utility sink.
I contracted work from CJS over several years for my house. They initially helped us with creating a footing, repairing the foundation and lifting the house since there house had settled down cracking the foundation. This was our first house and we did not anything about construction, so, even thought we knew that the house had settlement issues, it was really disheartening to learn about the extent of the work. Fortunately CJS was there to help and guide us through the process of repairing and straightening the house. Their work was high quality and they even helped us with other repairs (flooring, painting, etc.) all with very reasonable pricing (and even helping us with a payment plan). About a year after the first repairs, we had to resort to CJS for help because the bath tub in the upper floor had ruptured and a lot of water came gushing down to the bottom floor. Again, CJS did a high quality work at very reasonable pricing. Helping again with other needed repairs like a new electrical panel and water drain with a sumpump. The last job that CJS performed was the relocation of a jacuzzi next to a swimming pool, fixing a barbeque and repairing the pavement in the patio. Again, great quality work and reasonable pricing. If you need experienced, trustworthy contractors that charge you reasonable prices, CJS is your contractor.
