Jay was very professional. He did a beautiful job on our door. We had other folks come prior quite frankly didn’t know what they were doing. Jay assessthe issue and did a wonderful job. Our door is like new now. I would recommend Jay to anyone who needs a Finish Carpenter and as we have more work needs here we will definitely contact Jay to do our work. He was very professional very humble. Highly recommended.

Jay took on a small project I had to add legs to an existing cabinet I have. He made the legs and came and installed them today. He worked quickly and efficiently and I was happy with his work. I gave him another project as a result and would hire him again in the future.

This is my first time using Thumbtack and I was very pleased. It is difficult to find a tradesperson to work on a small project.
I was very impressed with the quality of Jays work. He built a custom spice cabinet with a barn door for my small kitchen and it is beautifully crafted.
It Is scary hiring someone you have never worked with before, but I have no reservations referring Jay to my friends.
I have already asked him to provide me with a quote for another project.

Jay was hired to install baseboards, paint, install blinds and light drywall patching. He came with all the tools needed to complete the work including table saw and paint supplies. He was super quick to complete all the tasks.
It was just for 20 feet of baseboard and painting one wall and an entire bathroom. He completed everything efficiently and did a great job. Everything looks clean and baseboards look great.
Jay is very nice and communicative on what he needs and when he will arrive.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Jobs are hard to bid without actually physically being there for that reason my fee prices are negotiable.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Given initial bid go to the shop site ensure that is accurate then proceed with the work. Smaller less complex jobs can usually be accurately bid without coming to the job site. All payments are submitted upon completion of the work except for material cost which are paid up front.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
23 years of the construction industry specializing in custom Cabinetry, Furniture design and construction, finish carpentry, rough carpentry, appliance installation and demolition. Also experienced in paint and finish as well as Drywall & Flooring.
