I want to ensure transparency regarding my pricing. Portrait sessions like proposals, elopements, and engagement photos start at $500 for a 1-1.5 hour session. For weddings, the range is $2500-$3200 for a full 6-8 hour wedding day. Please inquire about any elopements or weddings that are not a full day! I am local to the Reno/Lake Tahoe area, but do offer (and insist on) traveling to wherever you may need me. The Bay Area/NorCal, Yosemite, Southern California, and Las Vegas are the easiest places for me to offer the most affordable travel fees as of now.
Hello there! My name is TJ and I have a passion for photography. I first picked up a camera a decade ago, but it took time to cultivate the relationship I have with it now. My photography style is a hybrid of documentary and editorial. Capturing a photo for me has always been a moment where the world pauses and I can catch my breath. TJ did a phenomenal job on our engagement photo shoot. He was very responsive beforehand and had great suggestions of locations. On the day of the shoot he made us feel comfortable immediately. He was personable, professional, and well-prepared. He was open to our suggestions and had a ton of his own ideas. TJ spent an hour shooting with us and we honestly and had a blast. Then he got our photos edited very quickly and professionally. We love the photos, they look fantastic - and we were pleasantly surprised at how many photos TJ took the time to edit and send to us. I would recommend TJ to anyone in the Tahoe/Reno area looking for a photographer.

Thomas was such an amazing photographer for our June 1 wedding in mammoth lakes ca . He vibed with both our families and friends and took amazing photos of each family . I love all the memorable moments he has captured ! His artistry in photography was so creative and we gave him an ideas of what we were looking for and he captured it and we enjoyed watching him do his magic ! So nice and kind and great communication through out the whole wedding he even hung out with us for a bit ! I would definitely recommend him . Would love for him to come to our baby shower ! We did the reception at campground and ceremony in the mountains .

TJ was absolutely fantastic to work with and we’re so glad we hired him for our wedding! We booked a one hour photo shoot outdoors before the event to have just pictures of us as a couple. TJ has such a great eye and picked out wonderful spots for us with such artful framing and lighting. He was also really great at directing us and posing us to create some really gorgeous shots. We also hired him for an additional 2 hours to take candid shots of the event and he did a wonderful job of capturing beautiful moments with our guests. He even stayed late to capture additional shots for us! He was super responsive and easy to work with and helped us capture such gorgeous images of our special day. He also had a very quick turnaround time, and within a week sent us a link with digital copies of all our photos, making it easy to download and share with our friends and family. If you are looking for a photographer, definitely hire TJ! He will not just take photos, but capture works of art for you and your loved ones to admire.

We took some wedding pictures and our photographer TJ was so wonderful! Really nice person and delivered exactly what i had hoped for. Although it was soooo windy he still managed to capture some beautiful pictures. I am so thankful!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My base price is for a 45 minute session, which is usually enough for most jobs except weddings. I also require a 20% deposit to book and reserve a session and date. This is non-refundable, but will be used as credit toward your invoice.
Once you fill out the booking form, I will reach back out to you within 48 hours for us to plan the details and book the session. I do require a 20% non-refundable deposit due at the time of booking to secure your date. Your deposit is included in the cost of your total payment. We will also schedule a consultation to go over the details and be more comfortable and accustomed before we meet the day of our photoshoot.
For weddings and elopements, I will send you a contract to sign as well as an invoice for payment.
I have a discounted package if you book both your engagement photos and wedding day with me.
Any jobs that require me to travel outside of my typical area is eligible for a discounted travel package and should be inquired about through my website.
