Hi I currently live in placerville. I’m also looking for work in the Tahoe area. I’m sure my skills in woodworking and repair is a benefit to apply to any job requiring knowledge I have in the craftsman building styles up here on the slope and Tahoe area. 2 years ago I moved to Oakland from San Diego where I have been doing construction for 20 years. Recently, I’ve was working with a contractor doing lots of home renovations. Before that, I worked with a landscape architect doing all kids of projects, big and small. I can do larger construction jobs or smaller handyman projects. I’m flexible and easy going. My passion is in carpentry but I’m happy to do whatever job needs to get done.

Neil is the absolute best! I keep re hiring him. He is honest and transparent about all of his work and pricing, his work quality is what you would expect from a professional contractor and he's great with communication.

I previously made the mistake of using task rabbit and I hired 6 handymen/women who were all more expensive, would lie about what they can actually do and when the would do something, it looked like a toddler did it.
I am SO happy I found Neil
He built us concrete stairs on the side of our house that look 10/10.

He installed brand new outlets where none existed previously, he installed smart outlets around the house. He mounted a very tricky TV on an even trickier wall (we didn't think it could be done).

He also gave us a lot of great advice about other fixes to do AND not do based on the value we'd be getting.

I plan to keep hiring Neil so long as he's in the business

Neil was great to work with. Very responsive and ready to work. He took my little scheme for a small built-in shelf unit in my bathroom and ran with it. Designed it, bought the materials, built it and brought it back for the install…all within the week. It looks great and now I finally have a bit of storage in that bathroom. He also re-screened my sliding door perfectly. Ver reasonable rates. I’ll definitely reach out to him again for more projects on my list!

Neil fixed my fence, installed downspout, water filter, outdoor outlets and even Ikea closet. I found him to be very adept and would highly recommend him. He is definitely on my contact list for any jobs around the house.

Working with Neil was very simple.
He was easy to talk to and very punctual.
We had contacted him to install a coffee shelf and curtain tracks for 3 rooms into a concrete wall.
After seeing his work, we had also asked his help with fixing our king bed and he had come up with an economical solution pretty quickly. There were some stuff that took more time than expected due to the concrete wall but Neil was very accommodating and charged us fairly. Will totally recommend him.
