Introduction

Hi I currently live in placerville. I’m also looking for work in the Tahoe area. I’m sure my skills in woodworking and repair is a benefit to apply to any job requiring knowledge I have in the craftsman building styles up here on the slope and Tahoe area. 2 years ago I moved to Oakland from San Diego where I have been doing construction for 20 years. Recently, I’ve was working with a contractor doing lots of home renovations. Before that, I worked with a landscape architect doing all kids of projects, big and small. I can do larger construction jobs or smaller handyman projects. I’m flexible and easy going. My passion is in carpentry but I’m happy to do whatever job needs to get done.

He contacted me right away and came over within the hour. We discussed the project and we began the following Monday. Ordered supplies, installed window latches, efficiently, and well. Now we’re working on the door hardware. He ordered the pieces and we had to wait for them to come. Now he’s installing them. I feel Neil is reliable, efficient, skilled, and professional. I’m very happy with him and his work!

Neil helped with a variety of house projects including installing shelving which hung from our ceiling, installing a new light, fixing a door where the hinges had come loose from the wall. He worked efficiently and did a thorough job. I would hire Neil again

Neil is the absolute best! I keep re hiring him. He is honest and transparent about all of his work and pricing, his work quality is what you would expect from a professional contractor and he's great with communication. I previously made the mistake of using task rabbit and I hired 6 handymen/women who were all more expensive, would lie about what they can actually do and when the would do something, it looked like a toddler did it. I am SO happy I found Neil He built us concrete stairs on the side of our house that look 10/10. He installed brand new outlets where none existed previously, he installed smart outlets around the house. He mounted a very tricky TV on an even trickier wall (we didn't think it could be done). He also gave us a lot of great advice about other fixes to do AND not do based on the value we'd be getting. I plan to keep hiring Neil so long as he's in the business
