I love Vanessa! She's very friendly, customer driven & professional. I hired her to do my performance makeup for shows & have received many compliments on how beautiful I looked - not to mentioned, that I felt beautiful too! I also attended a group makeup class as well as a private lesson on makeup application. Vanessa even took me shopping for makeup & helped me find good quality products for my particular needs as a dancer. In addition, Vanessa has an excellent line of makeup products which I use daily. I love her! She's the best!

Vanessa is not only an extremely talented make-up artist, who has done my make-up for numerous Salsa performances to rave reviews, but she also teaches a great class. She demystifies the art of make-up so that non-professionals gain a greater understanding of how to maximize their looks, and look beautiful and polished. I loved her class so much I took it 4 times so I could deepen my knowledge. And I brought her to work to teach my colleagues after they saw the huge improvement in how I did my make-up.

I loved working with Vanessa on make-up. I've never really "played" with make-up and stayed with the same way of applying my make-up. She opened up my eyes....uh, no pun intended! She's patient and excellent customer service in that she wants to provide for your likes and needs. You can't go wrong because she's obviously a pro. Her brushes are high quality and the powders are beautiful colors. And...she took me shopping! Take her classes and the privates are a marvel.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always had a passion for makeup at a very young age. I had a MUA friend that did my makeup on a weekly basis and I would go home and replicate his work. I knew then this was my calling when I realized I had I was good at it.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Have clients who've been taking private lessons from me. To see their makeup evolution has made me proud. They feel empowered, skilled, and look AMAZING!
