I took a chance with JM home improvements due to their low review profile. I must say I have been very impressed with the work, that I have hired out the rest of my home projects to them; painting, tile, door install, can lighting, and debri removal. Clean work, fast, and very professional. 5⭐🌟⭐🌟⭐

They were very professional young men. They gave me hope for the future. They completed the demo of old plaster walls, insulated, and put up the drywall along with other minor tasks in between. Notably: They kept their work stations cleaned daily. 5 🌟

The team laying the flooring was very slow. 18 hours and only 2/3 of the way done with a 250 sq foot vinyl flooring project. There were also poorly cut planks , broken planks, and some planks not connected in. I had to pay another $1000 for some one to rip up part of the floor and lay it right, then finish the project. They were able to accomplish that in 8 hrs. The excuses were endless on why they were going so slow. I will never use them for anything again.

Details: A full day (Complex or long-term projects) • Installation • Bedroom • Flooring • Home

You can't call us slow when your subfloors weren't even prepared (the carpet people you had hired previously left staples and debris) (Your subfloor had joints that needed to be closed which took time *store run and labor) to begin the flooring installation. We gave you constant updates as a courtesy. You wanted a 2 day job by 2 of our workers completed in one. You also had a freak out moment (yelling & crying) and did not allow us to complete the job (in regard to planks not connected). We'd love to see you take a shot at this 😉 You were not: Reasonable or classy Will not work for you again.

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with any handyman. This is just one of the incomplete part of the job that they didn’t finish. I’ll never hire them again.

Details: 2 - 5 hours (A few different projects) • Painting • Bathroom • Kitchen • Living room • Bedroom • Walls (inside) • Home

JM Home Improvements's reply
You have to be kidding Mr. Douglass... Your requests were absurd and unreasonable for a painting job. We asked you to remove all your personal belongings from the areas that required painting including items mounted on walls. When we arrived you did not do a single thing and asked us to do it all (a day worth of work). We were courteous and completed work nobody else would do. Once the paint started you added additional tasks and areas that needed painting. It's called manipulation. We gave you more work then what you payed for or deserved. We repaired dry wall other incompetent workers did. We cleaned your entire floors (due to some over spray), which were filled with years of dog, rat, and cat hair and other zoo animals you have in your home. Despite all of this, we did a walk through before leaving your property and asked if there were any other tasks that you needed completed due to the pain you claimed you had in your back. Note: For all of our honest and hard working professionals. Do not take any work here unless you plan on being their personal slave. Jay Meadows JM Home Improvements
