- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My kennel is in Van Nuys and is our home base. one on one private lesson with one of our certified trainers at our home base is $50 an hour one on one private lesson with Daryl Young is $200 an hour private lessons in your home with one of our certified trainers is $100 an hour within a 10-mile radius of our home base. private lessons in your home with Daryl Young is $500 an hour within a 15-mile radius of our home base. We offer 3 packages for Board and Train - Phase I - a 2-3 week program that trains your dog in basic on-leash obedience also addressing behavioral problems such as nipping and jumping. at the completion of the phase 1 package, 6 follow up lessons to teach the owner at our home base are included - $2500 Phase 2 - a 2-3 week program that trains your dog in basic on-leash obedience also addressing behavioral problems such as nipping and jumping. at the completion of the phase 2 package , lifetime follow up lessons to teach the owner at our home base are included $3000 Phase 3 - a 4-6 week program that trains your dog in off-leash obedience also addressing behavioral problems such as nipping and jumping. at the completion of the phase 3 package, lifetime follow up lessons to teach the owner at our home base are included $4500 In all of our programs, if a dog takes longer to train than the suggested time frame, we will continue to train the dog for no extra charge. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I look at my clients just as a Doctor would. I ask lots of questions to find the root cause of a problem and to determine exactly what the client needs and expects from his training experience.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been working in dog training schools since I was 9 years old. I travel world wide extensively to compete in various dog competitions and train/share ideas with my friends many are the top trainers in their field of expertise. Learning never stops and I love traveling and sharing training concepts with my friends around the world.
