FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
There are sites dedicated to face and body paint. I surf those about once a week, gleaning new ideas and trying them out on my kids....poor kids.....the shrink is going to love hearing the stories how I traumatized them at such a tender age)
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I stumbled into it at my son's band booster's Fall Music Festival. Phyllis Fowler was one of the school board member in Sunnyvale She was doing face painting and I was asked if I'd help her...I was terribly slow and clumsy, but had so much fun, I determined to get better at it and quick. Now I do birthday parties (mainly), school functions, fairs and corporate functions and work a couple of parties a month.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Since I do so many things, I get called for all sorts of events where an entertainer is needed. I do birthday parties, baby showers and weddings, corporate events, and alot of non-profit events when I believe in them. There are very few things I would turn down if my schedule is open. I do book up quickly though and if I am not available I will help you find another artist. I have several I can refer you to, or call in if you need more than one artist at your event
