After getting completely scammed by another company, I was honestly hesitant to trust anyone else. But Silicon Valley Chimney Sweep came through big time! Nathan was professional, honest, and explained everything clearly. He did an amazing job cleaning the chimney and even showed me before and after photos. Had my Chimney and my friends house done today the work was superb. The price was awesome. The whole experience was something I’d highly recommend Nathan did the job so I highly recommend this guy this company. Nick was friendly & extremely competent. He did a thorough cleaning of not only my chimney but the spark arrestee screen that sits on top of the chimney. He also repaired some gaps in the bricks at the back of the fire chamber. He also looked for any structural problems that might need further attention, but found none When done he shared videos of what he completed. I would definitely recommend Silicon Valley Chimney Sweep to my friends and neighbors for any chimney maintenance they might need.

Nick was the best! When I initially booked my schedule was a little shaky and he allowed me a few days to confirm that day we booked worked best with no hassle. He showed up promptly giving me ample heads up as to his ETA and upon arrival swiftly figured out the exact issues I was facing for the issues of backdraft of smoke into the house. He was able to provide me a quote for new caps, sealing and cleaning the top of the stack, and cleaning for the one of the fireplaces that had too much build up of soot. He was communicative about the timing of the parts arriving and setting up an another time to finish the work. He was extremely professional and did an extremely thorough job, sharing pictures of the before and after so I had a clear idea that he did the exact job he intended to do to perfection. He shared the schedule he considered safest for cleaning moving forward. He also had me test the fireplaces and confirm the work was done to the level required and if there was something else wrong he could troubleshoot and fix it. My dog was slightly unhinged but he gave my puppy (full of energy) love and even took extra time to chat with my dad (who has dementia), I appreciated his time and the respect he showed my dad by taking time with him. I now have someone to go to for any issues that arise and will be planning to work with him exclusively moving forward for all my fireplace needs.
