I do the shopping, create the menu, set up and clean up my station, like to present verbally the menu to the client and guests ( if allow) and

I attended college at Palma de Mayorca, Spain to study Hotel and Tourism management for 5 years. ,While I traveled trough all Europe learning how to eat and educating my "palate" .
I Co-owned French restaurants in VA, rated with 4 diamonds by the Mobil guide for 12 years,i was at the front and back of the house knowing all the aspects of running a successful establishments.
Private chef in Miami for a high end individual for 8 years and worked in mega yachts as a free lance during the summers in order to get new experiences in tastes and cultures while traveling to different places.
I enjoy it teaching cooking classes as well.
My main goal is pleasing my client and guests with his suggestions and my creations.
To be creative, to work with fresh produces in order to nurture our bodies and to enjoy the taste and pleasure of eating well.

Luisa was a delight. I purchased a session with her for my daughter and son in law for Christmas. After many discussions regarding timing and both dietary and physical restrictions Valentine's Day was selected. Luisa arrived right on time and immediately made everyone comfortable. The menu was perfect and the session moved at a pace conducive to note taking. For anyone wishing to learn how to turn a meal into a dining event, Luisa is great. My son in law was especially excited to learn how to make a sauce that could be used on many different dishes and very happy to have leftovers. He has made the berry cobbler again since she was here as it was so delicious. The prep time was fun and Luisa joined us for dinner. We look forward to seeing her again soon.

Wasn't sure what to expect, never used Thumbtack before. From the very beginning communication was very good and continued throughout our experience. I was able to pick out 4 recipes from Luisa's Facebook page which showed a large selection of beautifully prepared dishes. We communicated via email on what my cooking goals were. Luisa arrived on time at the condo we were renting with all the fresh ingredients. We got started right away and had a wonderful time. Luisa is obviously very experienced and shared her knowledge of cooking with great tips and advice. My husband and I were able to join in and assist or stand back and take notes. Luisa stayed and shared the final dish we prepared, and we had a great time talking and laughing with her. In fact, we are getting together for dinner with her before we leave. We not only discovered some great recipes, but also a new friend!

Chef Luisa helped to make our Dad’s birthday an amazing experience! We live over 3,000 miles away and she made sure that there was no detail left out! From decorating to preparing a gourmet multi-course dinner paired perfectly with wine, to a fantastic tiramisu, AND cleaned up everything! She even Skyped us so that we could sing him “Happy Birthday”!! Luisa went above and beyond and 5 stars isn’t even enough!! We will DEFINITELY hire her again!! Thank you Chef Luisa!

Luisa was a patient and knowledgeable chef with me. It was my first cooking class and didn't know what to expect. My intention was to expand my 14 and 16 year old boys taste buds as well as learning healthy dishes for my wife and I. We prepared a delicious kale salad, broccoli soup, brussel sprouts, and a bolanese sauce for a spaghetti dinner with our boys. I defiantly will reach out to Luisa again for the next creation for my family. Thanks Luisa!!

We had a terrific experience with Louisa. I received 4 quotes for our dinner and I am very happy that I chose hers. We were flying into town for a golf trip and I needed her to do everything, shop, prep and then cook and serve the meal at our rented house. She and I went through some menu choices and created a full menu that turned out beautifully. She came prepared and on time and also cleaned up after so we had no mess. Our food was perfect and made for a terrific night. I would choose her again in a heartbeat and highly recommend her for professionalism, a great demeanor, food quality, value for the money and also responded to my bid request quickly. She was a delight to work with and such a sweet and pleasant person to have around.
