Hector did a beautiful job patching a hole in my bathroom wall where some plumbing work was done (it has one little ding because of the amount of plaster he had to use and the temperature/humidity of the room; easily fixed with a swipe of spackle). He was on time, very kind and nice, easy to communicate with, and gave a super-reasonable price. I will definitely call him when I get my act together enough to get the bathroom repainted and spruced up with new light fixtures and so forth. I would recommend him highly.
As God is my witness you need to put your trust in Dean and Kim the Happy Painters. They did my home in Venitian a Plaster with accent walls and painted base boards. This Venitian Plaster process is just that, it's a process of troweling on 3-4 coats of plaster. Trust me, I thought I might tackle this job myself, however, after seeing what the process is, it would've taken me a year. I had 5 bids for this project and 3 people wouldn't even bid. Dean wasn't the cheapest but came across as the most competent and that's very important to me. The job came out great beyond my expectations. Dean will be posting pictures of this job for future prospects. I will help Deans customers with any questions they May have along with my cell number. If you want a quality job at a reasonable price then call Dean the Happy Painter.
Javier was pleasnat and professional. The work was done timely and to my satisfaction. He went above and beyond the task at hand and I would not hesitate to hire him again.
Brendon and Trevor arrived on time, actually they were early 😊They tapered and textured my bathroom walls and did a great job in under 3.5 hours. They even cleaned up after themselves. Will be using him again in a couple of weeks. Prices are very competitive. Thank you both.
I am a recent homeowner in Escondido, Ca and I looked on thumbtack for a contractor and that's when I first found Luke Carr Construction which was an excellent choice. My old house built in the 1920s needed to be completely remodelled, there were holes and cracks in the lath and plaster which other constractors were leary of working with lath and plaster. Luke fixed all the walls, rewired all the electrical in my house, including new ceiling fans and can lights as well as new deco switches and outlets throughout that I purchased from Home Depot. He also painted the entire 4 bedroom house each room with a different colour I selected. He refinished the original hardwood floor in the house as well as the old chipped and base floor moulding, which came out superb! He opened walls and doorways to expose more of the kitchen and bedrooms, he created matching arch ways to match the ceiling. At first I was nervous because I've never done this before but in the end it looked even better than I could visualize and it created a more open atmosphere, I've received lots of compliments from family and friends about the unique arch ways. He also gave me advice on landscaping and didn't charge me to replant some of my trees that were put in too deep (took two hours), and gave me advice on the exterior which is the next phase of my home. He is an excellent painter, clean and neat, matches existing texture perfectly the other contractor said he would try but couldn't guantee it would match. He also did additional electrical work in the bathroom and advised me to add extra outlets in the living room that I didn't think I needed but really have helped me bring the house up to code. Overall Luke is a trustworthy guy and is very respectful of my choices, he gets the work done, he doesn't have a lot of the modern technology like 3D imaging and I don't believe he has a website but his dedication and old school ways worked beautifully for me and my job. He prides himself on his family life, I met his grandchildren on two different occasions and they were sweet. I'm looking forward to having him back for Phase 2! I've recommend him to two of my friends, one of which used him and she was very satisfied. Patricia
I am so pleased I chose this company for my project. Anthony replied to my inquiry promptly and came for an estimate the next day, Friday. Now it is Monday at noon and the job is done! He removed a mirrored wall, repaired and retextured the drywall. Protected the work area from flying glass and did an excellent clean up and removal of broken mirror. The texture is a perfect match to the existing walls. Price was very competitive.
We live in a Craftsman bungalow home built in 1926 and needed some plaster work done on a doorway in our kitchen that we had walled in. We just didn't have the time or energy to do it ourselves. Richard came by and gave me a quote on Tuesday and sent his plaster expert, Angel, early on Wednesday morning. The job was finished in a day and a half and we couldn't be more pleased! Angel is highly skilled in his craft and very neat and tidy. We plan to use P&R Lathing and Plastering again for a future project. Highly recommended!
With concern that the cost of travel would be included in any quote for service, I chose John C. Biondi Plastering Company for its proximity to my home, having over 35 years of experience and offering free estimates and reasonable rates. The time scheduled for a free estimate was kept and they were on time. The estimate was so reasonable that I requested that my partially finished garaged be completed (minus the ceiling) in addition to repairing the damage done as a result of my Hot Water Heater bursting and Dry Work being required. Although they do drywall and painting, I selected to do the painting myself even though the quote given was reasonable. On the day the work was to commence, the crew was on time, very friendly, quick, professional and the estimate remained the same when payment was due. I'm also thankful for information provided to me about the structure of my home that I was not aware of. I highly recommend John C. Biondi Plastering Company. Job well done. I do plan to do business with this company in the future since they also do stucco. Kenneth J. Baker CWO4 USMC (Ret)

If you are a plumber, I might be able to help patch the walls and ceilings. I have worked with plumbers for over 20 years (on the side) fixing the drywall, plaster and stucco after the plumbers finish their re-pipes. I was a commercial drywall finisher and I worked for a drywall contractor in Anaheim over 20 years. (We worked on schools where the drywall had to be perfect to pass inspection and.) And I did side-jobs for the plumbers. I'm retired now but I still love to do side-jobs. I really an not looking for a boss to tell me HOW to do the repairs -- I am an expert at what I do, and I work by myself. If possible, I would like to deal directly with the homeowner, and I will pay you a generous referral fee for sending me to them. When I finish the job, you cannot tell where the patch was! No job too small! Usually the homeowner likes my work so much, that they have me do more work for them, like painting and some light handyman work. I charge anywhere from $100-$500 per job. I'm in Norco, but I can travel to most cities within a 100 mile range. Thanks for reading this. Jack Feutell
