I have found yoga is for EVERY body. I work with a wide array of students including professional athletes, office workers in a corporate setting, seniors, people healing from illness or injuries, as well as anyone looking for unity and fun (retreats, parties and events), support, strength, flexibility and more sustained relaxation.
For those looking to use yoga for wellness, I have an extensive background working in Recovery programs and I’ve taught Accessible Yoga for many years at The Braille Institute in Los Angeles. I also worked for several years at WeSPARK Cancer Support Center in Sherman Oaks, California. There I cultivated my own unique
style of yoga called Yoga Spa. It is deeply relaxing and restorative and allows one’s body to come back into balance.
Yoga Spa is also great for retreats and parties and can be mixed with any other style of yoga.
I use breathing and meditation techniques sometimes in combination with yoga postures and sometimes on their own. I have taught Mindfulness and Vipassana meditation all across the country.
Meditation has been the most transformative tool in my own life and I believe meditation is one of the most powerful resources there is, to promote healing, wellness and cultivate a deeper connection to yourself. Teaching meditation is gratifying. We live in a society that stresses doing more but sometimes doing less allows us to overcome obstacles we never thought we could overcome and become more than we ever realized we could be.

For people looking to decompress and shake off life’s stress or help PTSD, I teach a beautifully empowering self-healing practice called TRE. Whether you go on long hikes or drives or are stuck in an office chair all day or suffer from PTSD, TRE (or tension release exercises) can be a simple way to re-balance the nervous system and feel better immediately. TRE helps address anxiety, depression, addiction, digestive issues, joint stiffness, auto-immune disorders and more. TRE can be done on your own at home every day for a few minutes to maintain a calm and resilient body and mind.
