FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rates are: $125 for individuals and couples $150 for families Sessions are 50-minutes and it is usually necessary to attend therapy at least once a week for a period of time, then to taper off to every other week, then once a month depending on the growth and needs of each client.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The most important first steps in therapy is making sure that a new client feels comfortable with the therapist and that a professional alliance can be formed. With this in mind the first 1-3 sessions are more about getting to know the client, their needs and their hopes for therapy.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Master's of Science Degree from California Lutheran University in Counseling Psychology. I completed over 3,000 internship hours before obtaining my Licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist from the Board of Behavioral Sciences of the State of California. My license number is LMFT84472. I am required to complete over 200 hours of continuing education in my field every two years to maintain my licensure.
