- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I usually have a two hour minimum and my rate does include travel within 20 miles and consumables such as nails, saw blades, wood filler, tape (excluding masking tape for a large painting job).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Communication is the key to a healthy relationship especially new ones. I try to communicate the details and establish expectations up front to minimize surprises.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have thirty years in the trades building everything from custom homes to reactors in a refinery process unit. The travel and stress became too much so I slowed down to enjoy my family and more of what I love about my job.
