Billie Sutton worked as a personal chef for my family from 2007 to 2011 in Santa Monica. She planned our weekly menu with different options for the dietary needs of various family members. She shopped for the ingredients and prepared high quality, fresh dinners during the week. The quality was consistent, delicious and much appreciated by all. Billie also catered several large parties to our great satisfaction. Billie was always prompt, in good health, kept a timely schedule, and handled a variety of personalities, including guests, and other staff members, with quiet charm and great tact. She grew to be a tremendous asset to our family and was sorely missed when she progressed from a part-time to full-time teaching position at Le Cordon Bleu. With typical efficiency and care, Billie replaced herself, ensuring a smooth transition. I highly recommend Billie for any chef or catering job. She is honest, personable, considerate, and a terrific chef!

First and foremost is the meal. Five star restaurant quality and exactly what we asked for. Second is the service. I knew that I was dealing with a seasoned professional thirty seconds in to my initial conversation with Billie Sutton. It is SO refreshing to know that there are still people like Billie in this world but, I digress. She put me and my event first and gathered all of the details necessary to understand fully what my expectations were. Then, offered suggestions, alternatives and "plan Bs". With the menu set, we discussed the logistics. This is where the SuttonCreek's experience kicked-in. We met at the venue which presented a formidable challenge to preparing the meal on-site. Billie assessed the situation, developed a strategy and got my approval for making it happen. SuttonCreek's service is all inclusive. With it's vast network of vendors and first-rate food service professionals, SuttonCreek was able to coordinate the seating and decor as well. The event was perfect. The food was superb. The guests really enjoyed the meal. When it was over, we all left and SuttonCreek made sure the venue was restored to its pre-event state. This was the first time I had ever been tasked with planning this type of event. Really, all I had to do was call SuttonCreek. There was absolutely NO stress before, during or after the event. It should be duly noted that during the event I paid special attention Ms. Sutton's demeanor. She seemed to glide across the room with an aura of tranquility. It couldn't have been as easy as she made it look. I think it's called "mindfulness". Whatever it is, it was the same trait that I heard/felt from her voice when first we spoke. I reckon it is like that saying about the duck going across the pond. Billie Sutton Is more like a swan. That trait is what will keep me referring and coming back to SuttonCreek.

Our experience with Sutton Creek Catering went above and beyond our expectations. Chef Sutton's expertise made our event a complete success. I would highly recommend their services and look forward to use them again in the near future.

Billie is an incredible chef! She has been my personal chef for over a year and my husband and I have become addicted to her meals. She is always reliable, diligent, and creative. One of my favorite meals is her fruit Salad! She is an outstanding asset to have in your kitchen!!

Our cooking demo with Billie was a HUGE success with our employees. The food was delicious! Her presentation was entertaining, informative and full of wit! We will definitely be inviting her back for future events. :)
