- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
First, I arrange a time to stop by and see what the customer needs are. Sometimes this can be done by texting pictures. Next, I carefully listen to why something needs to be done and I do a visual inspection of the area. A dialog will occur regarding options, materials, timing, and I will share my experiences with the customer’s needs. I will return to my office and send a detailed written bid customer via the intranet. I try my best to turn this around as fast as possible. Next, if accepted, the work is scheduled and performed as stated in the written estimate. Payment is never made until all the work is completed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I attend national conferences, continuing education, including seminars and classes on trends and new technology.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always had a passion for construction and design.
