Here at Peaceland, we help our students reach their goals, in music and in life, by teaching them healthy techniques and attitudes to have towards their training. Many of the principles and concepts learned at Peaceland serve to enrich and enhance other areas of the student's lives. We want our students to be happy, and to rock (or classical or jazz or whatever you enjoy)! Many times have our students applied our methods to their academic life, making vast improvements in their educational performance (much to their parent's delight).
Our methods are not just for the young though! We have students ranging from 3 years old, to folks who are preparing to retire (smart!), or already retired, as well. Music is for everyone to enjoy!
We love seeing our students achieve what they once thought was impossible. The excitement and encouragement they receive is truly something amazing! We look forward to helping you achieve your dreams!

John was my teacher, he was so patient with my learning style. He was able to provide more than adequate lessons. He even helped me learn my favorite songs on piano! I highly recommend him if you are interested in a teaching service that will go according to your personal learning pace!

James was an excellent teacher for me. The thing I liked the most about him is that he is very patient teacher, and focuses on the smaller details of playing the guitar - which goes a long way in making you a better guitar player without compromising on the form and techniques.
I would definitely recommend James to anyone who wants to start learning Guitar or wants to get better at it.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We generally charge by the month, although single lessons are available at a different rate.
Our monthly tuition fees are:
$105 per month for one 30 minute lesson each week
$155 per month for one 45 minute lesson each week
$205 per month for one 60 minute lesson each week
We do not charge extra for months where a 5th lesson is given.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The three tutors as Peaceland Music have a combined (roughly) 94 years of experience as musicians. Some of us have attended college, we've all played in bands, and we've all been students of other private tutors.
There are a myriad of ways to gain extensive knowledge as a musician, and we've tapped many of those resources during our lives to improve ourselves. We will continue to use every resource at our disposal to improve as musicians, teachers, and humans.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Music lessons covering a broad range of instruments at any level of proficiency. We also offer transcription services.
