She drove all the way from Orange County to Indio for my 40th birthday glam, and from the moment she arrived, her professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail were on another level. My makeup was flawless — soft, elevated, and camera-ready in every light. She understood my vision instantly and brought it to life effortlessly. Beyond glam, she even edited photos and created a beautiful video for me, which was way above and beyond what I expected. I will be the first admit that I am an extremely brutally, honest person. I was needing a hair/makeup person for my own wedding, I had called about 7 different locations, left voicemails with no response back. But when I contacted Thumbtack app, TinaTaheri was a prompt and lightening fast response back. Not only does she have almost 20 years experience in the field of aesthetics, makeup, and hair, but she is personable as well. It is hard to find someone that is professionally as talented and skilled in this line of work as Tina had been. I consider myself very lucky to have found her. She was on time on my wedding day, prepped and ready to work. She brought her own makeup chair to make it a very comfortable experience for me. She brought many different options of makeup, in the event that I had changed my mind about something. She had very good, clear contact with me via messaging and confirmations to get an exact rendition of what I wanted. I chose a glam, shiny type of look, which she made happen for me. She finished my wedding hair and makeup look in 3 hours total, with lots of patience, as I am hard to follow directions when I talk as much as I do. She went above and beyond, even offered to help my mentally disabled sister’s makeup. She went above and beyond, offering to have makeup on hand during my reception for touchups. She went above and beyond by holding my dress up so it wouldn’t get dirty. It takes a special kind of person to humble themselves for a day, to make it special for another person.
