- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It is difficult to present a standard pricing system for landscaping. It varies so widely depending upon the design and scope of the project. We are upfront and comprehensive in our pricing. We do not play tricks or bid low only to charge a bunch of extras during the actual work. You will receive a detailed proposal with the entire scope of the project laid out clearly for your inspection. The cost will also be clearly presented for the work proposed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically I will schedule a meeting with a new prospect and meet on site. We will discuss any ideas, likes, dislikes and or desires the client might have. I will take those ideas and in the form of a discussion deliver verbal design ideas. We will continue tweaking the ideas between us until we have met all the concerns and desires of the client. Once we have reached this stage I will prepare a drawing depicting the ideas that we have discussed and present that to the client along with a proposal for the work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in the landscaping and maintenance business for 29 years. I acquired my C-27 contractors license in 1993 and have been learning ever since.
