FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Potential clients of the firm can be assured that Hemming, P.C. provides complete transparency for any client obligations relating to a representation. In order to most effectively serve our clientele, we have found it prudent to align pricing with each client’s unique situation rather than setting a standardized price for all cases. For injury or medical cases, contingency based fee structures are available (pay only if you win). Specific fee arrangements will be discussed in detail during the initial consultation. In all instances, we make certain that our clients are fully informed and understand whether they can expect to pay any costs or out-of-pocket expenses relating to the case. A detailed explanation will also be provided on how attorney’s fees will be calculated. In other words, you will have the financial details of your claim available for consideration prior to deciding whether to proceed with the representation.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At the law offices of Hemming, P.C., our typical process for working with a new client starts with an initial consultation, where we listen to your situation, gather key facts, and determine whether our firm is the right fit for your legal needs. If an agreement is reached to move forward, we then provide a clear written representation agreement that memorializes the scope of our services, fee structure, and client expectations so our clients know exactly what to expect before any work begins. Once engaged, we collect and review all relevant documents, conduct a detailed evaluation of your claim or matter, and maintain regular communication to update you on case progress, important deadlines, and strategic decisions, so you are never left wondering about the status of your case. Throughout the relationship, our focus is on personalized, results-oriented representation that protects your rights and makes complex legal issues as understandable and manageable as possible. Clients can be assured they will have personal and direct access to the firm's founding attorney, Mr. Hemming, throughout the entirety of the process.
