Update: 4/25/2023 I would have to say that I am still having problems with the Hometime Windows. Some of the windows that have been replaced after they started leaking are now beginning to leak.I only have 14 windows/sliding doors in my house. Hometime has replaced all of them. Then they started to leak. A handful were replaced for free. Then after ten years, it was on my wallet to replace them. They are expensive to replace. Now, some of those replacement windows are starting to leak. At this moment, I have two windows and one sliding door that are leaking, and they have been replaced twice. Once for the original install and then when they started leaking a few years back. Like I said in my original review.... Hometime did a good job, they were on time, they gave a good price, BUT..... in my opinion, they just don't seem to last very long. I have no experience with any of the other replacement windows but I would caution on using Hometime for the long haul.Original Post: When I was looking for replacement windows, Hometime was the one I decided to go with for my home. This was many years ago (perhaps even 20 years ago) and I chose Hometime because they would let me do a few now, and a few later. Others wanted to do the entire house all at once, but Hometime worked with me. I replaced two sliding doors to begin with. Then a couple years later, I replaced 6 large windows. Then I did the four kitchen windows. Next came 4 windows for the bedrooms, and finally, it ended with the four bathroom windows. I believe all of these were done with the previous owner. While I was very pleased, it wasn't long before the windows began to leak. One by one, they had to be replaced. Hometime stood by their product and replaced them. Eventually, I was told that I was now out of warranty? What warranty? I was never told upfront that their windows only had a ten year warranty. News to me when the competition offers lifetime warranties.So, as a word of caution, Hometime did a great job and everything looked great... but in the end, the windows do not seem to hold up and begin to leak after time. When I say leak, I mean in between the double glass panes, they begin to cloud up and it looks like mold is creeping in from the edge of the glass. I currently have three windows that are this way... as most of the others have already been replaced once.I would like to give them 5 stars because they did a good job and they look great.... but they just don't seem to hold up over time. Perhaps they are great for a quick fix, but don't count on them for the long haul.

Thank you for reaching out to us to share this review. I sent you a message, but hadn't heard back so I wanted to respond to you here as well.
Back 10 or 20 years ago when dual pane windows were still in their infancy some of the materials including the spacer between the glass was not as advanced as it is today. It was common place at that time for window companies including Hometime to offer a 10 year warranty or less because that was the extent of what the materials could guarantee.
Now with 20+ years of advancement and the introduction of warm edge spacers, Hometime glass units are guaranteed to withstand the test of time.
That is why all windows and doors we manufacture today come backed by a Full Lifetime No Hassle Warranty.
Obviously this doesn't do much to help your current issues, but we do offer glass replacement for our past clients who are out of warranty at a discounted rate since we appreciate our customer relationships and aim to support you as best we can.

Nate and Lucas and Freddie were excellent installers. They were on time, friendly, communicative and experienced. Our sales rep Austin was respectful, communicative and responsive to all of our questions. The sales representative in the Upland showroom was also very helpful. The installation process was efficient and clean. But keep in mind, this is a construction project so they will be working inside and outside your house. The Hometime windows are very good quality overall and look amazing. The tight locking mechanisms are very secure and the sound package glass was worth the extra cost. This is our second time using Hometime. Prices for the windows were competitive, as we did shop around. Hometime deserves very high marks. We were very pleased with the high quality product and great service. We would recommend Hometime to our neighbors and friends in a heartbeat.

I want to say how impressed I am with Hometime windows and doors. I had a patio door installed last year in March 2023. They showed up on time and the installation was very professional. A few days ago the latch broke and I called Hometime for service. The technician patiently worked on the latch until he was able to open and he replaced the latch with a new one. I can't believe it was still under warranty. Not only do they produce a quality product, they stand behind it. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to replace their windows or doors.April 16, 2026Hometime just replaced all my windows. They are an excellent company. Eddy and Fidel were super professional and on time. I would never go to another company to buy replacement windows. They are the best!
