Richard is THE man for plumbing. After getting some insane quotes to convert my tank water heater to a tankless unit, I circled back to the plumbers I reached out to about a year ago when I shopped the job. I reached out to Richard about a year ago for a water heater and wound up just waiting for the heater to officially bite the dust, but Richard didn't hold a grudge even though I ghosted him. He wound up coming by a day or two after I contacted him, confirming the estimate he gave me over the phone, and starting just a couple days later. Richard's quote was lower than the others I got, so while I was sure the water heater would be operable and I was sure I liked the price, I wasn't sure if the install would be aesthetically or mechanically pleasing. I was pleasantly surprised when Richard kept me in the loop through all steps of the project and met or exceeded my expectations at all points with his thoroughness. He made sure the gas line was sized up where needed and all replacement piping was copper and not just flexible hose that kinda sorta did the job. He made sure the vent was placed not just directly behind the unit (which would have led to my front doorway, not the ideal place to vent natural gas) and reused my old vent opening. He also made sure the discharge line was placed where it wouldn't just drain onto my concrete and stain, but became associated with a nearby cleanout. Richard did everything as if it was his house and he had to look at the handywork day in and day out for years to come, and I am grateful for the high pride he puts into his work. At no point in the process did Richard try to talk me out of my requests (I was very particular with the unit I wanted to use) or try to cut a corner and hope I wouldn't notice or comment on it. He was extremely upfront and honest and I am happy to say Richard will be my go to plumber for all jobs in the future. He may not have the fleet of trucks or the advertisements all around town (yet), but he will one day with his stellar customer service and workmanship. See you in the near future for that bathroom remodel, Richard!

Richard was very professional and he was able to diagnose and solve a plumbing issue that was becoming a real headache for us. He’s the only plumbing contractor we met with who really did a thorough analysis of the problem. Then he was able to do a terrific job of installing a new section of pipe. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

I contacted RC Drains Plumbing to get 2 shut off valves installed in my kitchen since previous owners didn’t have them installed . Work is done efficiently and while he was here he also was able to quote me on a leak I had by my water heater which was great so I got everything done ! I really recommend him for any work you need done! Will definitely be contacting him if I ever need him in the future.
