Alisa Hill was professional, courteous and personable from the start. Her candor was refreshing! She catered a family dinner in our home following a wedding reception. She was ready to serve 70 guests on time and with a most pleasant demeanor. We requested a buffet baked potato bar and salad bar. It was fantastic! The whole family raved about the selection and especially about her chicken smothered in a creamy mushroom sauce with wine. I don't think there was anything left out for our guests to put on their salads or baked potatoes. The actual event was from about 5:30 to 9 pm. Alisa came with most of the food prepared and ready to serve. No lack of preparation on her part that I observed. She did what she said she was going to do and did it with a smile. Professional with me, with our guests and with her assistant, Taylor. When they were done, the food was all packed away into the refrigerator, and the kitchen was clean. Until the day of the event, I'd never hired a caterer, instead I had always prepared food for my company. This was a most positive experience and can recommend Alisa Hill and Passionate Plates without reservation!

Alisa was hired to cater our wedding of 35 guests at a private residence. She went above and beyond call of duty with cocktails, appetizers, the dinner, and setting up, breaking down the event.
She arrived early to set up for both the ceremony and the dinner, and provided the cocktails and beer which received reave reviews from the guests. For the appetizers, she provided polenta bites and bruschetta in keeping with our Italian menu and both were really tasty. The dinner menu consisted of a caesar salad with grilled salmon, tomato bisque, and a cappellacci di zucca; all were truly delicious.
She cleaned up the same night, making it easy for us to enjoy the kitchen the next morning for breakfast. If I were to host another event, I would hire Alisa in a heartbeat.

They were amazing! Alisa was so flexible. She listened to all of our needs and even came through with last minute staffing. They were so affordable, caring and did a great job with both the reception and the wedding.

Three weeks before my event my cater had to cancel due to a family emergency and I found Passionate Plates on Thumb Tack. Alisa was available and I was very nervous due to last minute changes. Well the first phone call put me a ease and it was perfect from that moment on!!! She delivered the bast food I have ever had at a event that was catered!! The Tri-tip and chicken were delicious!! The beans and salad were beautiful and delicious!! The mac and cheese was out of this world!!! There was so much food and served promptly at 6pm!!! The crowd was so impressed!!! Thank you for making our 50 year celebration just perfect!!!!!!!

From the way Anita advises and supports you in planning your event, to the delicious food she prepares and professionalism with which she delivers it all (and helps you wrap up at the end) it's no wonder that several of my guests asked for her contact info right away.
