I was approaching my baby's one year birthday and I weighed more then I did right after he was born. I knew I had to do something about it because my "baby weight" excuse was about to expire, so I decided to try a session with my brother's personal trainer, Tyler. I've been working out with Tyler for just over 2 months so far and I'm already down 10% of my body weight!! (And that was over the holidays!) The results really speak for themselves. He pushes me so much harder than when I workout on my own! I'm learning new techniques and diet and workout strategies, but what has really surprised me is how strong I actually am. Who knew?! Old Skool Iron, the gym we workout at is pretty wild - from what I can gather it's a pretty famous power-lifting & body-building gym. Some people may find that intimidating, but I have a lot of fun watching them do what they do. On the negative side, the gym doesn't have all the amenities big gyms have like full locker rooms/showers/etc. so you have to plan around that.
