Julian was the best! Extremely knowledgeable and assisted me with getting a game plan in order to maintain my front lawn and backyard. I had no idea as to what I was doing and was over the site of the plants growing in my front yard (which I thought were weeds this entire time) and called myself butchering them down with my own home tools, but Julian came in and corrected my wrong doing. Explained thoroughly the difference in these particular plants and why they differ from weeds. I Googled and YouTube a lot of what u thought I needed to get this under control but was wrong on so many levels so hands down I appreciate Julian and his professionalism. I will most definitely be utilizing Vigay's Services once again for my upkeep!

CONTACT THIS VENDOR DIRECTLY BEFORE SCHEDULING WITH THEM TO CONFIRM PRICING AND SERVICE TIME / DATE. Once confirming an appointment time through thumbtack it is communicated that you will be contacted via a company number and email. I proactively emailed the company to confirm the time and day that I scheduled for on thumbtack because I hadn’t heard from anyone. I later received a text message confirming the date of my appointment (not time). The day of my appointment I was texted at 8am that they were dispatching a technician to my home whereas the appointment was scheduled for 12pm. There was some communication about the company not using thumbtack to confirm appointment, I explained that my email went I responded. When asked about payment process they proceeded to send a square invoice via text. The thumbtack quote and the invoice were different pricing. Thumbtack quote did NOT include a labor charge. I was not contacted prior to the appointment to discuss quote price differences. I’m sure they are genuinely honest hard working people, but the lack of communication as a bit unprofessional.

Absolutely the worst customer service you can receive. Let me walk you through this. I set up an appointment for them to come see the frontyard and backyard and give me a quote for the following: Front Yard: - mowing - deweeding - leaf blowing Back Yard: - deweeding - leaf blowing I don't own the house, I'm a tenant renting. The owner is my father but I am renting the house. Their rep shows up on Tuesday at 9:20AM at their given appointment time. I spend 10 minutes with him showing him everything that needs to be done. He walks through with me and says everything that I am asking for is totally ok. I immediately talk to him about the cost of the project and he quickly says that he doesn't handle the cost of the project, his front office will handle that. I tell him that they had already sent an estimate if $390 to which the rep said that "normally our price is pretty much the same as others, maybe $20-30 more or sometimes hundreds less compared to others." I told him I would get in contact with the front office but he can go ahead and start, which he did. Between 10-10:30 I get two messages, one with the estimated cost of the project, which was bumped up to $412, and about 10 minutes after that I get the INVOICE for the job for the same amount of $412. During this time he has spoken to me a few times and made it clean that he has spoken to someone back in the office because what they sent me was the invoice for the job. I know this because he told me that their extra person should have been out helping him at this house instead of where he was currently and expressed to me that his fiancee runs their front office. He spent a lot of the time working talking on the phone, which I don't care about as long as your get the job done, but I know he has spoken to his front office. Around 12:15 the rep working in my backyard texts me and tells me he is checking if he has more time as he doesn't see him finishing by 2. We spoke for a bit outside and he said it would be faster to spray the weeds instead of hand picking to which I agreed to do. He said he would be back the next morning to spray the weeds and later to pick the dead weeds. When I spoke to him I explicitly asked him if doing it this way is going to cost me more than what we agreed upon and he said no, so I went on with it. At 2:30 PM he said he was done and said that our invoice was sent to us. I told him that we are not paying him until he completes the job the estimate/invoice included, which was still deweeding one side (by hand), spraying the weeds, and leaf blowing the backyard. He immediately gets agressive and says, "Because when you start playing with my money Professionalism goes out the door." Like no, first off, no one is denying you money. I agreed to the job, I agreed to the INVOICE you sent me but who is going to pay an invoice when the job agreed upon is not completed. I told them and I quote, "He (owner of the house) will pay when the whole job is done." That didn't go over well and their front office wanted to talk to me, fine. I spoke to the front office and they were nothing short of curt, rude, dismissive, and arrogant. She said she tried calling the landlord but he didn't pick up and immediately threatened me with reporting me to Thumbtack and pressing charges against me. Again, I told her no one is withholding their money, we just want the job that was agreed upon to be completed prior to paying, just like every other job I have every paid for. She said she would send out a person to complete the job the next day, "but expect payment tomorrow itself" and I agreed as long as the work promised was completed. She said she was basically done talking to me as I "was not taking her seriously" and will only talk to the landlord. The landlord tried calling them around 4:30 but no one picked up. The landlord spoke to the rep who worked on the house the next morning and said that he was rude, brash, and threatening on the phone. He asked the company to not work on the house as they were expecting more payment for the work the next day even though they didn't finish the promised job the previous day. We paid them the full amount they invoiced us and yet their front office messaged me telling me I am reported, for what? Paying you for a half completed job? Don't hire, you can find someone better.

Hello Aman. We apologize for your negative experience. Unfortunately, we have also had to report you to Thumbtack regarding, for lack of better words, your trying to get services for free. Our technician was at your residence for 4 hours, one of which was a courtesy. It was explained that the initial invoice is an estimate and that your final invoice will be confirmed once the job is completed. It was also explained that we do not do in-person estimates. There was no mention of your being a tenant and that payment would come from your landlord, who we had to get in contact with ourselves-that was definitely a first. We pride ourselves on being an honest business with hard workers. We wish you had a better experience, but we also have to make sure that our technicians are treated fairly and with respect. Thumbtack is a stepping stone for individual workers and small businesses, not a place to provide volunteer services. We wish you all the best.
