Alterations, Tailoring, and Clothing Design
Got some jeans altered and they turned out great! This was the first time I've contacted someone to alter some clothes for me, so I didn't know what to expect. They came out just how I wanted and they look really good!

I could not have been more happy with Arisha and her work. She was able to do a rush job for me (dress hemming in less than 48 hours). She came to my home to do the measurements and then dropped the dress off. I thought her travel and rush fees were very reasonable, especially considering general tailoring costs in SF. Also, she is just wonderful as a person, and I really enjoyed talking with her as she did my measurements. I will absolutely work with her again, and you should, too!

I had suit jackets and pants tailored and everything was done perfectly and it was so easy because she came to my home (completely masked) and picked things up and then delivered them back. Highly recommend

Loved working with Arisha and will be using her for all future tailoring needs! Responsive and prompt in booking. Quality of work is the best I've encountered - She truly loves what she does and it comes through in the finished product. Would highly recommend!

Value and punctuality as more options and would only let me pick 3, I choose all 5! Arisha was absolutely amazing, she was thorough, kind, extremely fast and such an artist with what she does. She responded the same day within the hr and she was able to come to me!!! She listens and is patient, she knew exactly what I wanted and needed even if I didn’t know how to explain what I wanted. She already knew. She even made me a matching mask from her own fabric and went perfectly! She made my dress fit me like a glove, I didn’t end up wearing my girdle or bra. She literally made it fit like a glove!! She was really my fairy godmother, I couldn’t be happier with her. I recommend her 100%, she is an artist with what she does!! You will not be disappointed and her rates are comfortable, she is now my go to for alterations and tailoring!!

FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I meet with clients or speak by phone to determine their perceived needs. I make recommendations concerning the particular project. I then assist with the fabric and supply sourcing prices and create a timeline for completing of the project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I initially learned to sew from mom who was an impeccable seamstress working at my father's dry cleaners. I went on to attend College of Alameda where I completed apparel design & merchandising program with an emphasis in suit tailoring. I have continually added to my skill set by working in various workrooms over the years where i could learn and fine tune traditional and modern techniques.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I started this work by taking on the client's who didn't want to pay my mother's tailoring prices. Sewing and alterations services were how I financially sustained myself in college.
