Bryan is professional and goes out of his way to do the job right the first time. If you need something done he is the guy to call. Don't waste your time with anyone else.

When I met Mr. Decker he bid my job lower than all other contractors and I assumed it was because his company was newer. I was happy to have the deals and then provide a reference for his work. We were off to a great start and then once we ran into delays Brian was pulled to other jobs and he left me without rooms of my home being finished for weeks at a time. When work was done he often had subcontractors on my job and he was not there. These were people I never met. All of this was after he demanded all money in full, which I paid, because he said he was "afraid I wouldn't pay." He kept saying he would be back to finish but he never came back. Only after a long arbitration process with the Board did I get my money back. I was then left to hire other professionals to finish the job. Throughout the arbitration process, and to this day, Mr. Decker has never taken responsibility for how unprofessional this interaction was with his company. My evaluation is that he over-promised things to me (products, work and deadlines) to land the job and then the job was bigger than he could handle at the time. The most upsetting of the entire experience was his lack of awareness of how stressful it was for me to be living in a demolished house without basic essentials. It was horrible. Some compassion would have gone a long way.

Bryan recently replaced my old broken concrete driveway with a beautiful new concrete driveway bordered by stamped flagstone. He completed the work with just one worker very efficiently and in a timely manner. I couldn't be more pleased with his work and intend to hire Bryan for future projects. The cost was reasonable. Bryan also noticed a couple of other trouble spots on my property and took the initiative to point them out and to fix them as well. Bryan is a good communicator. He listens and adjusts to please. I recommend him highly to anyone who wants a quality job at a reasonable price.

Bryan is incredibly professional, very easy to work with and an overall cool guy. As a 1s time business owner, I was a little unsure of the renovation process to my office; Bryan spent tons of time walking me through different options and how that would affect the overall price. I plan to use him for everything I can moving forward.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The typical process is us coming out to meet the client in person, a face to face conversation is absolutely critical to understanding the project, and most important, understanding what the client is looking for in a finished product. After that i like to move into the planning phase where everything is laid out for the client, we have in-house architects and structural engineers that can tackle any part of a project no matter how big or how small. We also have landscape designers and professional landscape architects that can design custom pools and hard\softscaping for any style of home.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
over 50 years in combined general construction, development and pool building experience.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Decker Construction has dealt with clients from all walks of life. Our pool division has been featured on bravo for about 9 years and have worked with Real Housewives of Orange County, we have worked with major developers and celebrities throughout Los Angeles and Orange County doing everything from custom homes and pools to home additions and bathroom\kitchen remodels. We do it all for every type of client.
