Introduction: Amanda is a group and individual fitness trainer with twenty years of experience. She graduated with a Kinesiology degree from McMaster University in Canada in 1999. Her classes included; sports medicine, anatomy and physiology, psychology of sport, and nutrition. Amanda has facilitated group and individual exercise programs both in the home and in a gym environment across the US and in Canada. She is ACE, level II Power Plate, and TRX suspension training certified, and a proponent of myofascial release as an integral part of any training protocol. She is an excellent motivator and teacher across the spectrum of client needs. Amanda is pleased to be working with Dr. Mary Trumpi, at Santa Monica Sports Medicine, as well as accepting a limited number of in-home, private clients. Power Plate sessions and small group classes are offered through Alpha Venice. Some insurance accepted through Santa Monica Sports Medicine. Please call the office at the phone number provided for details regarding insurance coverage. For private sessions, please note travel preferences. I’ve been working out with Amanda Fletcher at Alpha for the last five months, and I have never felt better. She is extremely motivating, mentally present, and always focused on her clients. She knows intuitively when to push me through, and when I need a modification. She explains body movement in knowledgeable short-hand, and I get it right away. Amanda never relies on the same routine. Each class I say, “We’ve never done THAT before”: she keeps me engaged and pushes my body in new directions, and I leave each workout sweat-drenched. Amanda kicks ass – but the best part is getting to know her. She is an artist, a creative thinker and accomplished writer. Working out with Amanda is an enriching experience on all levels.

Amanda took us through a series of both gentle and more vigorous exercises. She thoroughly and clearly explained the benefits, and which area of the body each exercise worked on and supported. She took the time to encourage us individually and I found her class to be the single best I taken in it's balance of fun and thorough. As a trainer Amanda was the perfect mix of clear instruction, explanation and demonstration, individual care and supervision combined with high energy fun! and for me personally her class was not only a fabulous all over work out that left me feeling amazing but also an enlightening lesson on how specific area's of the body work and how best to support and maintain the body post work-out. Amanda is a very professional, focused, intelligent, friendly and encouraging trainer, who makes even the hardest work out seem easy and enjoyable - which in my opinion is the best you could hope for. I learned so much through training with her. In fact I would take her everywhere with me [when I travel] if I could. She is the perfect accompaniment to a busy lifestyle, for those who care to maintain their physique, clear their heads and build up body strength.

I've been working out with Alpha Venice for nearly 6 months and Amanda is one of the best trainers there. She pushes you to the limit and doesn't let you quit which is exactly what i need to get my butt into gear. When you want a trainer with experience and is willing to with you until you reach your goal, she is the woman to see.

I have taken class from Amanda a number of times. I have really enjoyed taking her NTC classes as well as her cardio/TRX classes. I especially enjoy when she includes the power plate in her classes. amanda is motivating and positive. i always enjoy chatting with her during class. she is an excellent trainer and i hope to continue taking classes from her.

Amanda knows her stuff! She can tailor a workout to meet your individual needs and explain why you need to do it, how it works, an how it will benefit you. She is smart, funny and energetic! She gives you a full body workout combining TRX, NTC and cardio. I love that it is never the same workout - she always keeps it interesting. I am addicted!
